The Best Masseuse at AWAY Spa W Osaka
This review is for a massage treatment I received from Ai Yoshida at AWAY Spa in the W Osaka. The spa itself is amazing. Greeted immediately upon exiting the elevator, checking-in was a breeze thanks to the iPads with English language versions of all forms and questionnaires. After changing in the locker room I was lead to the treatment room. Ai introduced herself and went over all the forms and questionnaires I answered. Her English was great and was very thorough in reviewing what I was wanting from my massage treatment. I got the 100 minute Refuel treatment and it what exactly what I needed and then some. Ai made sure to occasionally ask if any adjustments to her message pressure were needed as well as the temperature of the room, heating pad, and music volume were ok. If you’re looking for an attentive and thorough masseuse who delivers a top notch massage, ask for Ai Yoshida!

A very ‘W’ experience
A typical W hotel with very clubby, party vibe. I have stayed in this hotel a few times and most rooms and suites have nice views, especially the Marvelous and Wow suites. Quirky furniture, some just for looks and not for comfort, but that’s W. Thankfully the beds are comfortable. Service is okay just as is common with W hotels. The attitude in general is ‘here is what you asked for and now go do your thing’. Location is pretty convenient. Breakfast is good even though the set up is as quirky as one would expect from W. The teppanyaki restaurant is very good though. Overall, a very W experience. Not something I look forward to but I do end up there sometimes and I just accept that life has its own plans.

Excellent hotel. Great service in general. I was particularly impressed with the fitness. Thomas has been training me every day. I really enjoyed his advises as a coach and I do recommend him... Will come-back!

90 min Massage with Tomoko
I had a fantastic 90 min massage with Tomoko as my therapist. I like deep tissue and had just got off a 14 hour flight the previous day. Tomoko was amazing she was lovely, professional, and exactly what I needed. The spa facilities are wonderful. The massage room and bed and scents were lovely! Definitely recommend
