had amazing help from a concierge songhui - she was patient and helped to find a good, last-minute restaurant reservation for a place that accommodates english speakers. i am picky so this was no easy task. if you ever find yourself needing help ask for songhui!

Where do I begin? We have just had an amazing 4 day stay at the WOsaka hotel. The staff are so warm and friendly but there again most people in Japan are. The Living Room bar provides a relaxed chilled out feeling whether it be in the afternoon or on an evening. I want to thank all the staff but need to especially thank the following three : Tomoyki Nonaka - such a happy smiling face greeted us both in the morning at breakfast or in the evening at the Living Room bar. Died this man ever go home 🤣 Songhui Seo - who helped us with taxis and rebooking of excursion tickets. She also went out of her way to run over to say hello when she saw us reentering the hotel. Shun - the wonderful bartender and cocktail maker. Shun makes the best Osaka style gin & tonics, he also has my husband hooked on Japanese rum 😝. Again always smiling and full of chat about football (soccer). We hope that we can someday return to Japan and would definitely stay at W Osaka again.

Currently at this hotel and can’t wait to leave. In addition to the poor check in experience, the room is absolutely horrible. We were woken up in the middle of the night by a dreadful smell coming through the vents in one of our two rooms. It was that bad that it woke us up. The internet is very spotty, and some devices simply won’t connect. This is a 3.5 star hotel masquerading as a 5 star. We’ve travelled through Japan for the last 2 weeks, and this is the only bad experience we’ve had. With so many other hotels in the area, do yourself a favour and run from this one.

W Osaka is a great experience for a traveler. Especially if it’s their first time in Osaka. The reason being it is in a great location. Also, the W is a familiar brand with most travelers and W Osaka showcases ‘affordable luxury’ with a hip flair to a tee. With that said, our stay in May is our second stay in 6 months. The rooms are nice sized but there leaves something to be desired in the bathroom. It’s a bit small with only one basin. The shower in the basic and corner rooms are great though. The staff here are top notch. I heard them speaking multiple languages as well. The cleanliness of this place is top notch as well. Although I love this hotel, I believe there are better bang for your buck hotels in the area that I would try in the future. One other point is, the location seems to be close to an area where people like to race their cars? It’s like really loud at night. People revving their cars while driving by. If you want a safe, familiar brand, visit the W Osaka.

Songhui Seo and Nikita were the highlights of our stay in the W. They made sure everything went smoothly for us. This has been one of the best hotels we stayed in Osaka. Very modern and chic have an amazing gym. Sauna pool and great spa to unwind from the busy Tokyo city we came from.
