Baglioni Masseria Muzza

We went with friends and stayed five days in this beautiful hotel. All the staff were very good at speaking English and always willing to help with anything. We were in a duplex room and everything was spotless. All amenities from the pool to the restaurant to the bars were absolutely tiptop. Not a lot in the immediate area to do so you need a car but the shuttle bus down into Otranto was very good.

The hotel is absolutely beautiful from the rooms to the grounds and restaurant. The hotel staff and service provided were exceptional. My only complaint was the air conditioning could have been a bit higher. I cant wait to come back!

I stayed with my wife at the start of June. The staff, from the very first greeting to the last goodbye were the best part of this hotel. The shuttle drivers were excellent and gave us good tips when we first went into Otranto. Everyone was so friendly, welcoming and wanting to help us have a lovely experience. We used WhatsApp to communicate with the hotel team. The communication from them was excellent. They gave great advice about restaurants and activities. The food in the restaurant was good and so was the pizza in the bar area. One evening, the staff put on a "Chicnic". We sat on blankets on the lawn and drank cocktails whilst a local group performed traditional Salentino music accompanied by a ballerina. It was great to understand more about the local culture from this experience. The sandy beaches are very nearby (the hotel shuttle will take you there). Lecce is very accessible by car.

Baglioni Masseria Muzza is a fantastic place to stay. From the moment we arrived till the day we left we got excellent service!!! On one of our day trip my husband was bit by a dog, as tourists you don’t know where to go but the hotel manager Vittoriano Unmarino helped us super good. He took us to the drugstore and to the doctor. He went out of his way for us!!! We are so thankful for his help. Breakfast was delicious, lunch and dinner as well. They go extra miles to please you. Don’t forget to ask a Campari Spritz and appetizer to enjoy the beautiful sunset at the pool. The girls at the reception helped us planning the day trip and give us some tips. Enjoy the spa after a day trip. Thanks for making our stay so special. We wish we could have stayed longer. Highly recommend.

Most of all, the staff were incredibly warm, attentive, and made us feel completely at home. A perfect destination for rest, romance, and indulgence. We can’t wait to return!
