Our second visit and it was as wonderful as the first visit. Every aspect of our stay was perfect. The gardens are a sheer joy. Staff are delightful and nothing is to much trouble. Our room was beautiful. The food at breakfast, lunch and dinner was delicious. We particularly appreciated a different tasting menu on each night. The lemon cake is heavenly. Even a gorgeous cat strolling round like lord of the Manoir!

Our experience at La Manoir was excellent with really nothing to fault, the food, staff, rooms and attention to detail made for a great stay! Some people may say its an expensive treat but for us it was well worth it! The kitchen gardens were nice to wander around but I think our visit was a little bit too early in the season to get the full effect of the 'garden to kitchen-table' concept although there were definitely some elements in the tasting menu that were home grown.

What a wonderful place. A real treat and felt thoroughly spoilt. Will definitely be going back again.

An amazing getaway, pricey but worth it. The rooms are fantastic, the staff attentive without being overwhelming, the food is amazing. The gardens are stunning, with the ponds and organic vegetable plots being the highlights.

We took a break from my husband’s business trip to London to experience the wonders of this exceptional hotel. And to discover secret magic tricks of gourmet cooking with a full day course given by Chef Mikey. Who is a delightful, warm good humored teacher. And it didn’t disappoint! We came away heartened and confident in our newly acquired skills, feeling like anything in the kitchen is now possible! I can’t rave enough about the place. It’s a work forever in progress, constantly expanding its varied branches of organic gardening,, culinary magic and decorative design and educating its guests by sharing all these unique bits of wisdom.. .With Michelin star Chef Raymond Blanc at the helm, endlessly pursuing new venues of creativity and excellence, one grasps a sense of genius at work! And the gorgeousness of the food in the beautifully appointed restaurant lulled us into dreamy satisfaction with all senses sated!! The garden tour was enlightening and enjoyable, and all the staff were friendly, professional and never stuffy. The place is magical and will restore your senses and quell any misgivings you have about the world
