Convent de la Missio

Tucked away right in the heart of Palma, easy walking distance from everything, this is a beautiful boutique hotel with excellent, friendly staff, amazing food and lovely, comfy rooms. The rooftop pool area is small, but perfect to relax and cool off in-between exploring. The breakfast was amazing. Nicest buffet selection of local delicacies I’ve had anywhere, and the cooked food was likewise excellent. The private spa is a great experience too. You have to book, but get a private, hour-long slot to relax. I can’t fault it. We had such a nice time here.

We had been excited about our stay here, having visited a sister hotel last year (Can Simonetta). One very major reason was we because we wanted to try the food of top chef Marc Fosh. We booked two nights...the two nights of the week the restaurant was not open!! That was very hard to accept and yes, we should have been told this when we made our reservations. As for the hotel, well it is clean, trendy and our room (a suite) was very large and had a nice terrace. It is located in quite a rough area but is very close to the Old City in Palma which is a positive. It takes around fifteen minutes to walk to the Cathedral and thankfully plenty of good restaurants. One aspect that did strike us, there seemed to be a lot of staff but none of them really knew what was going on. We heard horrific stories of air con not working and not being fixed for days whilst on a lesser note, our check in process appeared painfully long and drawn out whilst no one had a clue when our room would be ready. If I am not sounding very excited about our stay it is because I wasn't. The best description of this hotel is a good city centre venue, but, without the restaurant, absolutely nothing special.

Wonderful hotel in a convenient, quiet location in old town, easy to walk to great shopping and food. The hotel has its own private garage around the corner, which is hard to find in the heart of Palma. Very Convenient! Breakfast was delicious, rooms were spacious and clean, shower and bathroom were great. But best of all was the amazing staff! Thank you for a wonderful stay!

Once again after coming back each year since 2019 it never fails to disappoint.. any little ( not quite perfect) issue is always delt with 100% Satisfaction.we have experienced 4 nights only returning very late tonight from a beautiful hotel & send our luv to all the incredible staff & you know that we will once again next year 😁🥂.. paul& Patricia

This hotel is absolutely fantastic. Its in a great location and is absolutely beautiful. The hotel, the food the amenities but most of all the staff are amazing. Special thank you to Johan who made our stay so special but every member of staff who helped us were unbelievable! The breakfast is excellent and the rooms are lovely (great shower!). Couldn't recommend more highly. Thank you for making our stay so special!
