Sofitel Legend Casco Viejo

Stayed here for 4 days as part of an AMAwaterways land package. Hard to find any faults with this hotel. Everything is top notch. Service, included breakfast, location in old town, pool were all excellent. Rooms with ocean view are very nice but I'm guessing quite pricey. Our room was quite large, bed very comfy and quiet for a good night sleep. Security is a priority as you need to swipe your room key multiple times to access different parts of the hotel besides getting into your room. There is an excellent Italian restaurant (Madre) directly across the street. If price is no object, this hotel is highly recommended.

Deck and chairs full of bird poop unusable. Room not ready at check in time very disappointed no one seems to care . Would have expected better service

We spent five days with our family at Sofitel Legend Casco Viejo Panama and honestly loved every minute. The location is perfect—right in the heart of the old city, walking distance to everything, which made exploring super easy. We made a point to try all the bars and restaurants in the hotel, and every experience was great. The tasting menu at Caleta was a real highlight—definitely one of those unforgettable meals. The pool team was very attentive and made it really enjoyable to relax there, and breakfast was consistently good with a team that was always welcoming and efficient. Overall, a great vibe, beautiful property, and a level of service that really makes a difference. We’ll definitely be back.

Lovely hotel in a great location but what really makes this a wonderful place to stay is the staff. The Guest services and concierge departments are fabulous! We were there for the Ironman triathlon and they helped us coordinate many car services, dinner reservations and even an emergency bike shop visit for a last minute repair. A special shout out to Deslher and Miriel who went above and beyond 5 star service to assist my family and make our stay memorable. I highly recommend Sofitel Legend Casco Viejo . Walkable to most restaurants and bars. Nice pool area , friendly bar to enjoy mid afternoon cocktails and lunch. A daily stop at the coffee shop is a must for fresh brew and pastry with again friendly service. And dinner at Caleta was great!

We had a fantastic stay at Sofitel Casco Viejo. Set right on the waterfront in the heart of Casco Viejo. The rooms are beautiful, quiet, and very comfortable, and we had an excellent view of the ocean and pool. The pool deck and rooftop areas are standout features, perfect spots for relaxing with cold cervezas or blended drinks while taking in the views. Service was polished and professional, Iveth in the restaurant and Luis on the pool deck were awesome and the overall atmosphere felt upscale yet welcoming. The location is ideal for walking to some of the best restaurants, bars, and historic sites in the old city. Overall, this is one of the most impressive and stylish hotels in Panama City and a great choice for anyone looking for a luxury stay in Casco Viejo.
