Met my expectations
Loved it couple of days was enough to experience the Hilton 3 restaurants Great pool and view Spa massages was bit over my budget Only stayed 2 days 2nd night had flight at 3 am

Lovely hotel but expensive
So Great location Great views Great pool Great place to relax Rooms comfortable good bathrooms. Breakfast fine EXTREMELY EXPENSIVE hotel but everything is in Papeete . Staff very friendly as all Tahicians are, but really badly organised. I know these guys work on island time and we are all on holiday , but really if you are s at the bar its obvious you want a drink - not to be ignored . I do appreciate that hiring local staff who have a different culture is challenging but for the prices being charged its not unreasonable not to.have to wait 20.mins gor a beer.

Slipping
We stayed here 3 nights prior to Regent cruise . It has a beautiful pool and restaurant / bar but there were a few minor glitches with our stay : - we had a power outage in our room one day - our key cards did not work as they did not combine our two reservations. I spent 45 mins in line rechecking in. - there was an error with our final bill where we were charged $80 for a bottle of wine for. The previous guests - no ice machines worked in the hotel. I m not sure I would stay here again . Maybe try the Intercontinental.

No Pool Time
Just arrived at the Hilton Tahiti and thought we’d hang out by the pool….now, I know pools can get an algae bloom in tropical climates, but it usually can be controlled with cleaning and chemicals. This pool looks like it needs expert attention ASAP.
