Grand Hotel du Palais Royal

Very comfortable hotel in the heart of Paris. Lovely breakfast area in an outside courtyard if the weather permits. Wonderful staff. The several concierges were all helpful; we particularly appreciated Germain for his kindness and enthusiasm.

We were welcomed and made to feel at home. Staff was amazing, accommodating, and most helpful. Our room was perfectly charming.

I travel a lot and this could be my best hotel experience. The entire staff: Front desk, concierge team, service, even the cleaning staff, could not have been friendlier or more helpful.

The Grand Hotel du Palais Royal is a lovely hotel centrally located near the Louvre. While we had an unsettling and completely unexpected experience with pickpockets on the subway, the hotel staff was very supportive and offered us any assistance we needed. Every staff member was friendly, helpful and always greeted us with smiles and wishing us a good day or good night. Merci Beaucoup to the staff .

Elegant hotel in a convenient location in Paris. With so many excellent hotels to select from in Paris, location is a primary distinction among them. While not with any particularly noteworthy view, the location is steps away from the Louvre and thus also close to Notre Dame, Orsay, Saint Germain and (importantly) Berthillon. Less convenient for the Eiffel Tower, Invalides, Musee Rodin and the Arc de Triomphe, though still walkable. As for the hotel itself, the lovely lobby is fairly small as befits a hotel that is itself on the boutiquey side. The staff greeted us warmly and the concierge team was always quick to provide helpful suggestions and information. The room itself was fantastic, with a comfortable bed, a comfortable sitting area and an excellent bathroom (with a separate toilet room). Breakfast was in a small room with a comprehensive but not extensive buffet. The kitchen also offers eggs and other cooked dishes. While not itself a memorably excellent spread, it was a good breakfast. Definitely worth considering this hotel if you are selecting amongst the top echelon of Paris hotels.
