Grand Hotel du Palais Royal

Our stay at the Grand Hotel du Palais Royal was exceptional from beginning to end. Ideally located just a few blocks from Paris’s most iconic sights (The Louvre, Palais Royal Gardens, Champs-Élysées, Musée d'Orsay, cafés and designer boutiques), the property offers the rare balance of being centrally situated while still feeling peaceful, tucked away and secluded from the constant flow of Parisian visitors. The hotel embodies boutique luxury at its finest—elegant, intimate and thoughtfully designed without feeling overly formal. Our room was quiet, beautifully appointed and incredibly comfortable after long days of sightseeing. What truly distinguishes this hotel from many others, however, is the remarkable hospitality. From arrival to departure, every interaction with the team (front desk, concierge services, food & beverage staff) was welcoming, polished, attentive and genuinely gracious. Housekeeping maintained everything flawlessly while remaining discreet and unobtrusive throughout our stay. The hotel is incredibly fortunate to have such an exceptional and distinctive staff. A very special thank you to our new “meilleur ami,” Germain. His kindness, warmth, professionalism and thoughtful attention to detail made our visit even more meaningful and memorable. Paris is home to countless luxury hotels, yet this property leaves a lasting impression in a way few places can. If we could give it more than five stars, we would. My wife and I were fortunate enough to spend five nights at this wonderful hotel. The experience was absolutely outstanding. From the moment we arrived, the staff made everything effortless with warm, genuine service that never missed a beat. The room was spotless, beautifully designed, and incredibly comfortable — the kind of space you actually look forward to returning to each night. The beds are wonderful and the room quiet at night with no noise from the street or other rooms. Breakfast was fresh and delicious every morning. What truly set this stay apart was the team. They were all attentive, kind, and always ready with thoughtful touches that made the experience feel special. A special thank you to Claire, Safira and Lillian who went the extra mile for us. After five days, we left feeling refreshed, cared for, and already excited to come back.

Can't say enough good things about this charming hotel! Everyone was so friendly and welcoming. The rooms were clean and comfortable. The restaurant and bar were top notch and the service impeccable. We can't wait to go back!

We loved the hotel, location and staff. This is not a budget hotel, so do not expect discount rates, but going in April was better than the summer. Less crowds, but still vibrant. It also helps being a Hilton member. It is near the Louvre, and even closer to the Palais Royal. My partner remembers Quentin beingawesome... there were so many other excellent staff. We had an early morning flight and the staff made sure that we had a breakfast to go. All the little details were done well. We will be back.

We could only be here one night, but would have stayed longer if possible. Every staff member we dealt with was amazing!! Special thanks to Chloe and Germain. The bed and restroom were great. The location was good for accessing much of what you’ll want in Paris.
