The very best of the best in every way
We checked into this magnificent property after leaving the Shangri-La due to that hotel actively inviting social influencers into the hotel, disturbing the guests in a profound, unnecessary and gross way. You would never experience something like this at Le Crillon -- it would just be too disgusting for them to even entertain. After its magnificent renovation -- rebuilding, really -- this property now sits atop the pyramid of uber-luxury hotels anywhere in the world. Inside the magnificent 18th century exterior is a new, but serene and entirely sumptuous home away from home. To a person, the staff is cheerful, helpful, and professional in the specifically perfect manner only the French are able to achieve. I cannot say enough about our experience, and if you are considering the "Palace Hotels" of Paris, my advice is to choose Le Crillon.

Avoid room service !!!
I was tired so decided to spend a relaxing night in my room. Ordered a croque monsieur from service expecting one of the best I have enjoyed across France...instead it was easily worst...miniscule amount of cheese and meat, no cheese at all on top...fries were a couple of levels down from McDonalds ...stale and cold. Better room service food at the best western in my hometown...unbelievable for a storied hotel of this quality ...oh yeah, the price was 69 euros. An easy 5 without this experience...but wanted to share because I found it so remarkable

Hotel Worth Five Stars
Other than being associated with many historical events in the early 1900's, this hotel did not disappoint. Very nice room, total quiet, thoughtful placement of the bidet, great staff, areas off the lobby for sitting/reading/waiting for friends, in-house bakery with amazing sweets, and good food. The breakfast was a weak point-no buffet and one could not rush off while ordering from the menu. In this 5-star hotel, my bracelet came loose and fell off and as soon as I realized it when I went up to the room, we came right back down and the bracelet was gone. Security did scour around for me, but in less than 5 minutes, it was gone. There was considerable upscale shopping around.

Wow
After having a lovely Christmas tea here in December, we decided this was the place to stay in Paris for our 25th wedding anniversary. And it did not disappoint. From the beautiful decor to the ever-smiling, gracious staff, to the best vanilla bean millefeuille we've ever had, this stay was a treat. The Crillon really knows how to make guests feel taken care of, from the thoughtful amenities in the room to the personalized butler service. And we really appreciated the sweet anniversary wishes that we enjoyed all week. Thank you for a very memorable stay.
