Hotel Lutetia

Okay, so our stay at the Mandarin Oriental Lutetia in Paris was honestly one for the books—absolutely phenomenal. Walking in, we were hit with this warm, welcoming vibe from the staff, who somehow remembered our names and even asked about our day’s adventures, like they genuinely cared. It made checking in and out feel like catching up with friends. The food? Out of this world. Breakfast every morning was a total treat, and our server, Elisée, deserves a shout-out. He greeted us with the biggest smile, made us feel so special, and went way above what you’d expect—pure class. Every dish we had, from breakfast to dinner, was just delicious, like they poured love into every bite. Now, the rooms—gorgeous and comfy, but here’s where they really won us over. The folks next door were super loud one night, and when we mentioned it, the staff didn’t hesitate. They offered to move us to a new room and, get this, they decked it out for my daughter with kitten decorations (her favorite!), balloons in her favorite colors, and even some sweet little gifts. She was over the moon, and I was blown away by how thoughtful they were. The hotel itself is stunning—every corner looks like it belongs in a design magazine, and the amenities are top-notch. It’s the kind of place that makes you feel fancy just being there. Honestly, if I could give the Lutetia six stars, I would. It’s a must for anyone heading to Paris who wants a stay that’s as memorable as the city itself. I’m already looking for an excuse to go back!

The hotel and staff exceeded all our expectations! The service was impeccable from start to finish, especially Victoria who went above and beyond. She immediately accommodated all our requests, scheduled private cars, activities, dinners, your name it she made it happen. She is truly a five star guest relations director. The staff greeted us by name, remembered our preferences, and made every interaction feel personal and refined. Everyone went above and beyond to make sure they was perfect. We will return.

What a hotel. It possesses all the five-star attributes of Paris's best palace hotels, without any stuffiness. Every aspect of my stay was perfect - from service and warmth to spectacular rooms, with the fluffiest pillows, silkiest sheets and marble slab bathtubs. The food is delicious, in the bar, the salon and the brasserie. Breakfast buffet is excellent - what an array of choice, all utterly high-end. This is a hotel for today and in the very best neighborhood.
