About the Hotel
Hotel Lutetia is an iconic landmark situated in the vibrant Saint-Germain-des-Prés area of Paris and the only luxury Palace hotel on the city's Left Bank. Beyond Exceptional!
Honestly, this is the best hotel I have ever encountered, even considering my 40+ years of business travel and staying in 4-5-star hotels all over the world. The good news is that every aspect was exceptional, beyond exceptional, completely unexpected. I felt like royalty. The bad news is that the experience spoiled me and tarnished the “reputations” of the six remaining hotels that I stayed in during my three-week visit to France. None other could measure up, particularly when it came to SERVICE and how I was treated, from the moment I stepped into the hotel, during every restaurant visit (especially breakfast), and even the housekeeping staff. I have to thank (and credit) Tauck for the introduction to Lutetia, but trust me, I will be returning! They need SIX stars!

Relaxing stay, oasis in the heart of a busy city.
Fabulously central, I walked everywhere and to all the sites. Le Bon Marche department store down the street was a plus. Their food hall amazing. I felt safe as a solo traveler, the relaxed internal garden and library opened areas to chat with the other guests. The breakfast buffet was exceptional with so much variety and the chef to prepare anything that was not already there. Bowls of Berries a treat. I also had time to enjoy the spa and swim every day in the internal pool.

Amazing neighborhood…amazing historic building and great hotel !
Great hotel and location. We were welcomed by Pierre at the front desk who facilitated our check-in process. We were giving a complementary upgrade which was touch as we are celebrating our wedding anniversary. it is located in great neighborhood in 6th district and is close to Le Bon Marche for shopping. The building is historic and beautiful with great art deco touches and beautiful original artwork especially seen in Bar Joséphine. Concierge also was helpful giving us recommendations for off beaten path activities/excursions and we ultimately went to see photography art exhibition at Musee Maillol of Robert Doisneau We saw most iconic shots by the great Robert Doisneau, the amazing French photographer who captured moments and elevated snapshots of French citizens especially French children and is well known for the iconic photograph titled “The Kiss at the Hotel de Ville” We didn’t use their spa, gym or pool but went by to check out and looked enticing. First time staying in this neighborhood and hotel and won’t be last as had wonderful stay !!!

Good service
Good service over our expectations. From the front desk through F&B, house-keeping to Akash was all lovely. My child did enjoyed the swimming pool and the nice decoration made by housekeeping on our arrival.
