Hotel Lutetia is an iconic landmark situated in the vibrant Saint-Germain-des-Prés area of Paris and the only luxury Palace hotel on the city's Left Bank. Originally opened in 1910, the building's design was a daring move from Art Nouveau to the emerging style of Art Deco. The Lutetia delivers an authentic Parisian experience and has been at the heart of the local community for more than 100 years. The hotel now features an eclectic mix of restaurants, bars and lounges throughout the historical ground floor including the iconic Brasserie Lutetia and Bar Joséphine. Unique to the area, Akasha Holistic Wellbeing Centre is Lutetia's 700 sqm/7,500 sqft spa dedicated to wellbeing and fitness and featuring a 17m swimming pool bathed in natural daylight.

The hotel is amazing. Beautifully decorated, with the most amazing staff. Everyone was extremely helpful, friendly and courteous. Truly enjoyed our stay.

Good service over our expectations. From the front desk through F&B, house-keeping to Akash was all lovely. My child did enjoyed the swimming pool and the nice decoration made by housekeeping on our arrival.

When i pay 6.000 Euros for 3 nights, i dont want to find notes from the hotel in my room, that the towels are getting changed every 3 days! Also to lower the water pressure in the showers, that i could hardly wash the shampoo out of my hair is not acceptable! If Mandarin Oriental is becoming a green-wing politics party, then i am their wrong guest. I do not accept, that a hotel group is telling me how i should live!

I worked in luxury hotels for 30 years and am very familiar with the characteristics of a 5-star hotel. The Lutetia Hotel exceeded my expectations and I understand why it has the added distinction of a "5-star PALACE hotel" which is a category in France for a hotel worthy of more than 5-stars. The 1910 hotel has been beautifully renovated in modern style while still celebrating some of the original details in the public spaces. My guest room was very comfortable with high tech features like touch screens on the walls and on the nightstand. The floor to ceiling marble bathroom with large walk-in rain shower and double sinks and vanities was beautiful. I was escorted to my room from the person at reception who checked me in, where a lovely amenity plate and welcome note awaited, which I was told is a standard procedure. The buffet breakfast in the bistro was extensive and delicious with every type of food imaginable. In addition to the aforementioned, the true standout of the Lutetia was the level of service and professionalism, which was extraordinary. I cannot praise this hotel enough and hope very much to return!

The hotel is ideally located for touring Paris landmarks. Staff and overall amenities are the best imaginable. Close to Metro and with a local park across the street. Bon Marche a block away. Our room was well designed and left nothing to be desired. Food and beverage, again excellent. We stayed two nights coming in from the USA on our way to a Tauck River Cruise down The Seine to Normandie and back. Highly recommend LVTETIA on the left bank for a truly first class visit to Paris. We visited August 20-21-22 so crowds were light everywhere. The hotel even made our rooms available at 10am the first day so we could unpack and rest up before heading out to the Louvre for the afternoon. Many, many thanks.
