Perfect night in Paris!

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 1 day ago

Perfect way to spend a night in Paris and have a truly historic feel. Breakfast is wonderful and staff is welcoming and attentive as well as helpful. We stayed to be close to the Eiffel Tower and location did not disappoint. Room was clean and spacious and bed was comfortable. Loved the towel heating rack!

Disappointed

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 2 days ago

This is our third trip to the hotel. I was very disappointed when at 10:45pm on Saturday night we returned from dinner and requested a single round of drinks in the hotel bar. The bar was 3/4 full and all the patrons had full drinks. We could have easily enjoyed one drink and retired to bed. However the bar manager was completely inflexible and refused to allow us in the bar, citing it closed at 10:30. The terrace was also closed and there was no coffee lounge. He suggested we walk somewhere else. We won’t be back.

The best hotel in Paris

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 1 week ago

This is the classiest hotel in Paris, our favourite and also that of Spencer Tracy and Kate Hepburn when they were in the City. It's located just down the Avenue Kléber from the Arc de Triomphe, with Fouquet's and the Champs Elysees just round the corner, so good strolling distance to the Tuileries, Tour Eiffel, the river etc. The hotel staff are impeccable and friendly and the concierges first class. There's a rooftop terrace with views all over Paris. The hotel's dark and plush, no more so than in the 'Bar Anglais', where a glass of champagne will set you back €32. (It's not a cheap hotel.) In some respects it's curiously old-fashioned; for example there was no English TV, film channel or Netflix, but that's not really why you come to Paris, is it?

A great time was had by all

The best thing about the hotel is the staff, they are great. The bar is enjoyable, comfortable and fun. Rooms are large, well furnished, and kept clean. Location is supper, in walking distance to shopping, eating, and entertainment with many museums in walking distance. All in all top drawer.

A stunning hotel with a great history a short walk from the Arc De Triumph

We last stayed in this beautiful hotel in 2015, it was our wedding anniversary and we were treated like royalty. It was my 60th birthday this past weekend, and my husband turned 60 last August. So we decided to celebrate in style. We asked for the same suite we had last time. We arrived and they weren't ready for us to check in, but they took our bags. We had a glass of champagne in their beautiful bar. We went off for lunch, and when we came back, there was a birthday message and a bottle of champagne on ice! Such a wonderful thing to do. We really had the most wonderful weekend.

Our stay was lovely at the Hotel Raphael in Paris. The suite was huge! We felt as if we were staying in a glorious French apartment within steps of the Arc de Triomphe. The quiet location was wonderful, restaurant exceptional with breakfast daily just perfect. The hotel staff was faultless, and the concierge very accommodating - making reservations for us at many of the wonderful Parisian landmark restaurants. We felt truly welcomed.

We stayed at the Hotel Raphael and found it to be everything advertised and more. The suite was exquisite, the dinner was fabulous, and the location was perfect...

From the moment we arrived at the Hotel Raphael in Paris, the service was superb. I had requested a room with a view, but to draw the curtains in our room to find a balcony overlooking the Eiffel Tower was beyond anything we had hoped for! It felt more like a bedroom in a great 19th century mansion than a hotel room. The concierge was very helpful, giving directions, ordering taxis, and securing reservations at 'fully-booked' restaurants. An unforgettable experience!

After staying in Paris at the Hotel Raphael, I will never be able to live a normal life again. The hotel was first class in every way. The lobby was beautiful, the rooms were outstanding, the concierge service was top-notch, and the staff friendly, courteous and always accommodating. I don't know where to begin, but everything about the stay makes me want to go back. What a wonderful way to visit Paris!

We recently enjoyed a fabulous six-day stay at the Hotel Raphael in Paris. Everything was perfect - the friendly and professional service, the beautiful suite and the lavish buffet breakfast. Included in our package was a dinner on the hotel rooftop which overlooks the Eiffel Tower. We enjoyed a wonderful dinner with a nice bottle of wine and were welcomed by the sun the next morning!

Words cannot explain the atmosphere and beauty of this exceptional hotel. From the elegant furniture and decor; the sumptuous buffet petit dejeuner; dinner on the rooftop terrace with the Eiffel Tower shimmering in the dusk; the kind, friendly and professional staff; the outstanding maid service; the helpful and accommodating concierge; the hotel's location on Rue de Kleber one block from the Arc de Triomphe with a Metro entrance right outside the door; to the charming cafe across the street with free Wifi - all awesome and a dream come true! This hotel will make your Paris experience one to remember.

We stayed at Hotel Raphael for our honeymoon and will be going there for anniversary. The concierge staff is exceptional. We corresponded several times via email prior to our arrival, and when we arrived there was a binder that featured a tab with our name—inside was every piece of correspondence and the concierge knew our requests by heart. Whenever we had a request that they didn't know off-hand, an envelope would be discreetly slipped under our door less than 10 minutes later with a list of wonderful options. Raphael's housekeeping staff was also amazing. We had a 3-ft high fantastically fragrant flower arrangement in our Jr Suite on arrival. When coming to refresh the flowers 3 days later, the staff was astute enough to see that the flowers were still in excellent condition so they ADDED another arrangement to our salon instead of taking one away. Every time we entered our suite, it was like entering a beautiful flower garden in spring time. As I said, we are going back and can't wait – the staff feels like family.

The Hotel Raphael is, without a doubt, the most fabulous hotel in Paris. We recently enjoyed a 4-day stay at this hotel for our anniversary, and everything exceeded any and every expectation we had. The staff is the most friendly and polite I have ever dealt with. Their concierge is what every other hotel strives to be. The front desk & restaurant staff are exceptionally friendly, and even the maids greet you in the halls.

Upon arrival we were upgraded to one of their finest suites, the kind of room you can only dream of staying in. The view of the Eiffel Tower and Arc de Triomphe from our balcony made it tempting to spend our entire vacation lounging in the room. We enjoyed tea in the morning sun, and champagne in the evenings. All of this with breathtaking views of the Eiffel and Arc.

I will forever stay at the Hotel Raphael in Paris and will recommend this hotel to everyone who wishes to have a fantastic stay in the City of Light.
