Hotel Regina Louvre

Staying at Hotel Regina raises your experience in Paris to a whole other level! It truly impacts your entire Parisian experience in such an exquisite way. I know this because we have stayed at many different hotels in Paris over the decades and when we stay at the Regina, it is elevated. When we arrived, we were warmly greeted by a chorus of bellmen and doormen who ended up being some of the friendliest and warmest staff at the whole hotel. They set the tone for the hotel and were all consistently caring and attentive the entire time. Eric would always run over to take my mom’s hand and help her down the stairs. That meant so much to her! Gildas helped us plan our day when the solo concierge on duty was busy. When our uber canceled and we were late for our concert, in a literal flash he mobilized us a taxi! I watched him during an 8 hour shift outside in the grueling heatwave with a smile for the guests and ready to help. Aurelian was also a gem; always alert, caring and helpful to us. His kindness was so appreciated; he felt like an old friend. This is a special group that has a hard job that they do so exceptionally and should all be commended. Once inside the hotel we were greeted by the charismatic Slah at the front desk who remembered us from last year when he spoke to us briefly! He always acted excited to see us throughout our stay. The whole hotel, including our room, was stunning and immaculate. My mother needed to rest, so we spent a lot of time in the hotel. There is nowhere I would rather be when waiting. Even sitting in the lobby was amazing! The front desk staff were so friendly and eager to help. On my first night I observed Sophie handle a difficult guest with such grace. The hardworking concierge were all fabulous in helping us plan our trip prior to arrival. Marjorie was outstanding to work with—eager to help and so lovely. Taner is passionate about the hotel, his job and helping the guests. He is an asset that I learned the hotel will be losing. If I were the hotel, I would figure out a way to keep him; there aren’t many Taner’s out there. Another treasure is Hameed on the night staff who was so personable, kind and helpful. These three, in particular, helped make our stay successful and enjoyable. The best meal we had in Paris this visit was at Chez Suzy. The exceptional manager, Julien, took expert care of us along with the rest of the attentive and kind staff. The food and service were perfect and we really appreciated the generosity and kindness of Julien and the chef. My mom and I want to eat there every day when we return! The only little issues we had were that the air conditioner was nearly impossible to figure out how to use. This led to some warm nights. Also, the soap and shampoo canisters were not always filled and we weren’t always given conditioner and hand lotion. The housekeeping staff is wonderful and clearly work so hard! We appreciate all who made our week so special and memorable. We are already planning our return!

Beautiful hotel and amenities, conveniently located in the center of Paris. Staff were all very friendly and helpful and met all of our needs (reservations, recommendations, etc.). Decor is beautiful and rooms are well appointed. Breakfast was delicious and offered several options.

The Regina Hotel exceeded our expectations. The location is perfect—right by the Louvre yet surprisingly quiet and peaceful. Our room was spotless, elegant, and well-equipped, with two bathrooms, two rooms with master bedroom and a comfortable sofa bed in a living room, ideal for three people. Service was impeccable even if the hotel was full! We’ve stayed in other 5-star hotels in Paris, including big-name brands, but Regina truly stands out for its comfort, truly Parisian charm (over 100 years of history!), and quality. We’d gladly return.

We splashed out for this 5* hotel as it was opposite the Tuileries Gardens, one of our favourite locations in Paris, and it was worth the extra. The hotel is an oasis of calm, with a traditional Art Deco theme. Billy and the front desk team made us welcome. Our room was not ready as we arrived early so we had nice lunch in the garden restaurant, good food, good service and correctly priced. Our room was comfortable and quiet, overlooking the central courtyard.
