"To be grand in every sense of the word" — this is the spirit of Le Grand Hotel. Located in the heart of the capital, facing the Opéra Garnier and a stone's throw from Place Vendôme, Le Grand Hôtel could only have "Grand" department stores as neighbors: Les Galeries Lafayette and Le Printemps. The history of Le Grand Hôtel is as grand as it is long sharing 157 years of Parisian life. Le Grand Hôtel has always lived at the rhythm of French history. Le Grand Hôtel has delighted citizens from all around the world, stimulated artists, and celebrated victories. The Grand Hotel is the meeting place for all those who think grand. The Grand Hotel looks afar. From our 458 rooms and 90 suites, you can see either the Paris Opera House, the Eiffel Tower or look out over the rooftops of Paris. To be grand is also to be close. It means offering tailor-made services to meet the deep needs of each individual. That is why Le Grand Hôtel offers a Club Lounge, a Marine Spa, a diplomatic wing and a wide range of the most beautiful salons in Paris. The Grand Hôtel de Paris does everything possible to create the finest culinary experience. It all starts with the choice of the Chefs who know just how to combine ambition and humility, because aiming for perfection in the kitchen is an everyday exercise. The Café de la Paix is a Parisian institution in itself, whose reputation is earned client by client. In recent months, Le Grand Hôtel has undertaken major and costly renovation work, in partnership with Pierre-Yves Rochon, to embellish and improve the comfort of our rooms and suites. Today, Le Grand Hôtel is certain to have the most beautiful suites in the capital and is happy to have kept its promise: "to be grand in every sense of the word"

Beautiful hotel with amazing location! We were given a room across the street from the opera house which was lovely. The size of the room was good considering it is a historic hotel in Europe. The concierge desk was excellent. The breakfast buffet was phenomenal. My only complaint is the manager at Le Verriere was completely unprofessional. We had them take back a dish that was incorrectly ordered in the first place and he fought with us to remove the charge from our bill. Don't give guests of the (very expensive) hotel a hard time for something so small!

We've got the rooms on the 1st floor, you can clearly hear metro from there, especially at night, together with the air conditioning system noise. Also you can hear it if your neighbours are taking a shower or somebody is in the hall. Once our tv just turned on in the middle of the night, so we couldn't get a good sleep. The entrance and bar areas are beautiful, but the halls have dusty smell and the rooms are old and outdated (like no outlet on one side of the bed), but clean. In one room there was no full size mirror, but iron with a board and toiletries were already in there, which is nice. No walk in shower, but a rubber matt not to slip. Nice concierge service, particularly Benjamin was really helpful. Good breakfast in a beautiful restaurant.

It is with great delight that I share my FABULOUS experience at the InterContinental Paris Le Grand Hotel, located near the beautiful Opera Garnier. You will not find a more welcoming, helpful, caring, professional, thorough and responsive staff anywhere! This beautiful, historic, elegant, luxurious hotel has an ideal location, in central Paris, near all major attractions. Our nine-night stay in May and June 2025 was truly exceptional, thanks largely to the property’s dedicated staff. Ms. Nina Meyer (Assistant to General Manager Christophe Laure) was truly extraordinary: I corresponded with her via email prior to our stay due to some special requests. Her enthusiasm and caring was evident in her emails. Once in Paris, it was a delight to speak to her to thank her personally for her outstanding assistance. Similarly, her lovely assistant, Ms. Yingxi Huang, personally welcomed us to the property upon arrival, and made sure that our beautifully appointed junior suite suited our needs in every way. In my opinion, the InterContinental Paris Le Grand is very fortunate to have both Ms. Meyer and Ms. Huang as senior members of their staff! The room service staff was wonderfully responsive and the food was great. We extend our deepest thanks to them. In addition, one particular hotel telephone operator (through the Instant Service Center), Murel, was especially thorough and kind and deserves special mention, as does Burak in Reception. The concierge service at the LeGrand is wonderful as well; we were always greeted warmly and with a genuine desire to make our journeys around Paris smooth and easy. Finally, the housekeeping staff responded to our requests and needs quickly, and courteously. It is with great enthusiasm that I highly recommend the outstanding InterContinental Paris Le Grand Hotel!

Horrible stay at the Intercontinental Paris Le Grand. We stayed here last year, and everything was fine - nothing spectacular but everything was easy and convenient for our itinerary. This year it has been horrible. We were out all morning from 9am-2pm, no housekeeping came. The phone in our room doesn’t work, having to go downstairs for requests (which we had many of) The shower in our bathroom is tiny - on top of that it smells like septic + sewage. We ordered room service one night, the table didn’t fit through the door - so we had called them up to disassemble and remove everything from our room. They didn’t show up for an hour+ so we ended up disassembling the table ourselves. The most inconvenient part about this all has been the reluctance to provide guests WATER. We have even offered to pay for additional waters off of the room service menu and they have been claiming a “1 water per room” policy. Absolutely ridiculous. Even after a full day out, we came back to no water in the room (which I had to physically go downstairs and ask for, and didn’t receive until over an hour later). This is our second stay at the Intercontinental Paris Le Grand and year over year the service has drastically worsened. We will not be coming back again.

One of my favorite hotels in Paris. Some rooms are larger than others but every room gets it done. I’ve probably stayed here 10 times and have no reason to stop now. You really can’t beat the location. Walking distance to the louvre, the seine, the opera, galleries Lafayette and more. Metro station is a one minute walk. If you fly into CDG you can take a ROISSYBUS to its only stop….right across the street from the hotel. For the price it’s hard to beat
