We stayed for 3 nights in this very good located hotel. On arriving we got an upgrade for a suite with terrace. Very kind staff. Interiors very neat but very classic. A bit to old fashioned for my taste but very clean. Do not expect anything trendy here. The restaurant 114 was the only disappointment , very highly priced especially the wines (which I had to pour myself exept for the tasting). I wonder where that Michelin star came from ; this is just a good table nothing more, nothing special.

My wife and I spent a week in a suite at Le Bristol recently. We have been staying at Le Bristol for over 30 years, and the experience was as extraordinary as ever. The hotel premises are understated, but classic and pristine. If it is glitzy high powered Hollywood style premises that you want, go elsewhere. If it is elegance and class, this is where you want to be. The rooms are spacious. The restaurants are excellent. But, of course, what distinguishes Le Bristol from the rest is the service which is diligent, comprehensive, efficient (in France!) and friendly. Certainly one pays for this experience, and pays top dollar. But the value is there.

We recently spent a wonderful week at Le Bristol, the iconic Parisien institution which is celebrating its 100th anniversary - a milestone celebrated in an understated manner so typical of this elegant hotel. Under the long term leadership of Le Bristol’s C.E.O. Luca Allegri, the hotel’s management team has maintained its renowned service levels and the extraordinary warmth and gracious hospitality for which it is known. The hotel’s Resident Manager, Aurelie Martin, has an intense focus on all aspects of the hotel’s operations - ensuring the seamless performance of the hotel’s operating departments. Together with Jean-Marie Burlet, Le Bristol’s Director of Guest Relations and Louise Barret, the hotel’s experienced front desk manager, this outstanding professional team works assiduously to meet the needs of its guests and to maintain the hotel’s unrivaled service levels. Ms. Martin’s resolute oversight and attention to detail and Mr. Burlet’s commanding presence are apparent, providing a welcoming embrace to Le Bristol’s guests - and a reassuring sense of security and genuine hospitality that is unique in the commercial hotel world. In often uncertain times, management has maintained a vigilant focus on security, robustly staffing its entrance and keeping a watchful eye on its guests and visitors. Le Bristol ownership has remained in the Oetker family for generations. Such ownership stability has enabled the hotel to maintain its character and service standards through volatile economic cycles and has empowered the hotel’s management team to focus on long term objectives without regard to short term economic pressures or trends. It is this core stability and long term focus which has enabled the hotel to retain its highly skilled staff and to strengthen and grow its departments, including its unique bakery (which mills its own flour), cheese aging cave and deep wine cellar. The commitment of ownership has enabled management to build the deepest talent “bench” in the hotel industry, mentoring from within and retaining the “best and brightest” managers and employees for many years. This venerable hotel remains in magnificent physical condition, with its historic and elegant lobby, generous and beautifully appointed rooms and spacious bathrooms, luxurious linens, impeccable housekeeping service and renovated health facilities. But Le Bristol’s iconic stature is not simply a function of its exquisite physical assets, but is a reflection of the unrivaled warmth of its staff and commitment to service. Le Bristol’s depth of service is reflected in the superb Concierge team led by Tony LeGoff and Marie-Liesse Thery. Guests of the hotel are served by a concierge team with an encyclopedic knowledge of Paris’s restaurants and cultural institutions. In the caring hands of Arthur Meresse, Helene Duquait, Sarah Huet, Jimmy Brisson, Zoe Hingrai, Noe, Fabien and Guillaume, the team strives to ensure that the hotel’s guests have the best Paris experience possible. It is an extraordinary concierge team. As the hotel’s celebrates its centennial anniversary, it is noteworthy that its acclaimed restaurants are also entering a new era. The three Michelin starred Epicure’s new culinary team led by Arnaud Faye has built upon Eric Frechon’s distinguished legacy with Chef Faye’s refined, complex and delicious cuisine. The hotel’s 114 Faubourg bistro has introduced a modern brasserie pre fixe menu. At 100 years old, Le Bristol’s team is resolutely forward thinking. Le Bristol remains a place of extraordinary warmth and hospitality, driven by a management team devoted to its guests and to maintaining the family environment and service ethos which has characterized the hotel for generations. There is no better way to experience Paris.
