A recent YouTube video from the Frenchies reminded me of a pinnacle travel experience I had at La Pavillon de La Reine. To the entirely of the team - Bravo. After an abruptly canceled flight, a last minute train booking, a train delay, we ended up on a late night eurostar into Paris about to miss our second train and essentially stranded for the night. Whilst on the last 20 minute of our rather awful marathon travel day, Le Pavillon was arrange simply due to proximity and ease. A driver was waiting at top of the escalator with our name. Under terrible weather (storm that evening) he took our luggage in hand and guided us under umbrella to a black sedan and quick ride to my very first stay at Le Pavillon. Check in was quiet and elegant, the courtyard garden environment was exactly what we didn't know we needed after the day. Upstairs we were led to a most cozy and subtle yet luxurious suite with a welcome handwritten note, fruit platter and bottle of wine. All of this, within 1 hour of booking the hotel. My husband and I had dinner downstairs next to the bar. It was a most excellent meal reminding me how pleasant it is to hear a relentless rain outside while a fireplace sat next to our left. The honor bar was a previously unknown value add. Every hotel can have a popular bar with all the mixology but this small selection and well selected wines (with me jotting down our name and room number) makes the entire experience of "having a drink after dinner" so much more relaxing. I even helped a fellow guest (also stranded due to weather) open the bottle of champagne. The morning breakfast needs no accolade - best thick cut, flawlessly delicate cured salmon I've ever had. Whether for business, pleasure or cruising the kids in a first European experience - Paris is hectic and demanding. Le Pavillon manages to create an Oasis I never knew I needed. Weeks later we'd spend a week at our usual Le Bristol (always spot on). As my husband and I speak about our next time in Paris, we find ourselves wondering maybe we should stay in the Marais (for the first time ever) because we would love to experience Le Pavillon De La Reine once more. That one stormy night in Paris where we didn't even leave the hotel was one of our best memories of Paris.

I would like to express my sincere appreciation to the entire team at Pavillon de la Reine for yet another impeccable stay. The warm welcome, attention to detail, discretion, and professionalism of every staff member make this hotel a true haven of comfort and charm in Paris. A special thanks to Rudy, Head Concierge, for his kindness and the elegance with which he assists guests — always attentive and refined. Pavillon de la Reine is, without a doubt, one of the most exceptional hotels in the city. I highly recommend it. Luiz Labruna

We stayed in this hotel after a trip through Normandy. We have been in Paris several other times and did not think we needed to stay more than one night on our way home. We were wrong; this is a lovely quiet place with elegantly designed rooms. Facing an inner garden, it was quiet and picturesque. The restaurant and breakfast offered delicious fare with friendly service. While the location is more secluded, you are near most attractions and many great restaurants along the Seine and the Marais area. The only thing I would change would be that we should have stayed longer. Next time in Paris......

Truly enjoyed my stay at the hotel and absolutely plan to come back. The hotel is beautiful. Furniture and color choice are exactly to my taste. I stayed in room 42 which is not big, since I was one person it felt very comfortable, and I also managed to use the closet area. The staff and service are so welcoming, especially the concierge. Personally breakfast was not to my liking especially since the coffee was not as good as any regular noisette in one of the cafes. The location is of course stunning, minutes walk to most of Paris attractions.

My husband and I went to Paris in celebration of our 50th wedding anniversary. It was magical! In fact, we tell people one can't describe it adequately- it must be experienced. We spent eleven nights at Le Pavillon do :a Reine in the Marais. The hotel and its staff were great and the location was perfect. We saw most of the major sights in Paris and did day trips to Giverny (Monet's home) and Champagne. We the spent 4 days in the Loire Valley visiting a few chateaux. Yes, we would go back except for the travel to get there and back since we live in Hawaii. We have noting but wonderful memories of our trip.
