There are a lot of 5 star hotels in Paris. Some very small boutique hotels, some out of the beat and path and some like this Peninsula hotel, perfectly located close to everything and just the right size. The choice hotel for the whose who, although we are not, the hotel and the rooms are amazing. Rooms are remodeled with everything being electronically controlled. Bed is comfortable and clean and the bathrooms are fully stocked with the Peninsula Brand amenities. Nothing is left for the guest to request. The lobby and the restaurant is the perfect size. We dined at the roof top one night and had snacks in the restaurant a few times. Bar is just perfect as well. Location is close to the Eiffel Tower (easy walking) and if where you are going is too far out of the way, the hotel car will take you there or bring you back. In short, if you are in Paris and are able, experience the service of this Peninsula Hotel.

This is clearly the best hotel I’ve ever stayed in from the four seasons in DC to Sofitel in ATH to fives across Portugal, Spain, and even LA. The staff is un-French polite and friendly! The bath/shower/toilet is exquisite (Toto washlet). The food and bar is well equipped and elevators almost magical fast!

We enjoyed our visit at the Penisula Paris and highly recommend a stay here. We arranged expedited arrivals at CDG Airport- getting off the plane there was a gentleman who was waiting for us, wisked us through customs into a waiting car and off to the hotel- a wonderful option. We received a warm welcome upon arrival from the bellmen- they were all so nice. The hotel lobby is stunning, and all the staff were friendly and helpful. Check in was quick and easy. We had a wonderful breakfast in a stunning room with excellent croissants. After breakfast our suitcases were in the room. The room has wonderful beds, electric shades for evening, and a large bathroom with tub and shower. It's more a modern style room. The macarons were nice touch. The hotel is near Champs Elysees and Arc de Triomphe - not far from Eiffel Tower. The concierge was excellent and was able to arrange all our transportation needs. We did not have dinner at the hotel but had a cocktail on the rooftop bar - beautiful place to go at night to view the Eiffel Tower. We unfortunately were only in Paris for a short stay- but will gladly return on our next visit.

After a wonderful experience during a brunch at The Peninsula, I decided to extend the experience with an overnight stay. Unfortunately, it turned out to be very disappointing, especially for a hotel of this calibre. Upon arrival in our room, no one provided any introduction or explanation of the room features or available services. Later, when I went to the pool, I discovered that my check-in had been processed incorrectly. I was asked to wait while a staff member came to “re-register” me—still with no clear explanation of the procedures or rules for using the facility. The following morning, breakfast (which cost €250) was another letdown. There was no clear indication of what was included in the breakfast package, and the service was slow and inattentive. For a palace hotel, these oversights are extremely disappointing. The experience simply did not live up to the expectations or the price point. Sadly, I won’t be returning.

If only other hotels could emulate this hotel. The rooms are spacious; the staff experienced and helpful. Everything you could possibly want in an hotel. The concierge excels at securing Rez in advance. The beds are so comfortable. The bathrooms are huge. Spoiled beyond.
