Ideally situated along Avenue Kléber with views over the Eiffel Tower and within walking distance of the Arc de Triomphe and some of the world’s most famous monuments, museums and luxury shopping districts, The Peninsula Paris sits in the heart of the 16th arrondissement, a truly romantic, residential and peaceful neighbourhood where lovers and families enjoy wandering in the streets to the birds chirping. Surrounded with embassies, this area is one of the most secured in Paris.
Within this superbly restored heritage building that embodies Parisian elegance, guests can experience the best of The City of Light. Staying in one of our 200 luxurious and spacious rooms and suites, they can enjoy the outstanding views over Paris cityscape, before dining in one of the 3 restaurants of the hotel. A true gastronomic getaway in itself, the hotel offers a memorable two Michelin-starred dining experience at our aviation-themed rooftop restaurant L’Oiseau Blanc, a gastronomic Chinese cuisine at LiLi, or a breakfast, lunch, tea-time or dinner in the heritage restaurant Le Lobby. They can also experience the ultimate relaxing journey at The Peninsula Spa away from the hustle and bustle of the city, as well as bespoke experiences such as private cooking or wine pairing class with our Chefs, private tours by Rolls Royce Phantom, or exclusive access to some of the city’s most fascinating locations and cultural gems.

So, what do you do when your husband wants luxury and your college kid wants nothing to do with stuffy hotels when staying in Paris?! I finally found the answer. And, it may surprise you. It did me. This past January, when all the holiday crowds left, we experienced our most favorite trip to Paris thus far at the Peninsula. The Concierge was the best we have experienced (and we travel a lot), finding that last minute table at the best restaurants. Rooms are perfect sized. And the bar and restaurant? Amazing vibe and perfect cocktails. Lots of locals and that should say it all. Thank you Peninsula Paris!

It’s a Peninsula. The hotel is beautiful inside and out. My room was as nice as any room in which I have stayed: comfortable, clean, quiet, and beautifully decorated. The staff were both friendly and professional. The hotel is nicely located—just a short pleasant walk from the Arc de Triomphe, with many fine restaurants and cafes close by. (Yes, I also had meals at the hotel--all excellent. I will review them individually.)

This was an incredible experience. From the physical property to the service to the whole experience everything was excellent. The public areas were part of a former palace and they still maintain the feeling of grandeur and elegance. The "standard" room was more than standard. Both the room and bathroom were exceptionally large. The marble bathroom was luxurious as well. The closet doubles as a dressing room with a makeup table. The table even has a nail polish dryer built into the table. Service by the many people we interacted with was excellent across the board. The word "no" is not in their vocabulary. While not cheap, the old axiom applies, "you get what you pay for".

This is no doubt luxury personified. If you can think it, they have you covered already. Everything you need is provided for in the room including a dryer for your nails; for real, for real. We stayed in a suite on the fifth floor. The room has a dressing room, a large bedroom, a mini office desk equipped with everything including a printer. The bathroom has one of those high end toilets🤭 and the bed is heaven. The staff are professional and friendly. The hotel is centrally located. Steps away from Champs-Élysées with all the gorgeous stores. Please note that the hotel restaurant serves lunch between 12 and 2pm. Close, and then reopen for dinner at about 7pm. However, there are lots of restaurants in the area. What I found strange though is the 75euros cap on breakfast. Why put a cap on breakfast for a room of about 3,000 euros a night? Make it make sense. The TV channel option is very limited and disappointing. Overall, it was a pleasant experience, it’s a very beautiful hotel with highly trained and courteous staff. And worth every dime!
