Had a wonderful weekend stay in this hotel. Booked as a birthday treat for my partner. Staff were very welcoming and helpful, especially Leo. There was a surprise chocolate cake and card waiting in the room on arrival for my partners birthday, nice touch snd appreciated, and then a delicious boxed chocolate at turn down which I claimed. The rooms are large and packed with amenities. Loved the giant comfy bed which we sunk into and had a great sleep. The A/C was amazing as the weather was hot and sticky and bonus, the windows open too, allowing plenty of fresh air in. Bathroom area is well equipped with lots of lovely toiletries, large powerful shower, plenty of storage and extra bits and bobs. Lots of tea and coffee supplies and complimentary soft drinks in the mini bar. Due to circumstances, we spent more time in the room than planned and had to have in room dining. Room service were helpful, efficient and fast. The food quality was very good and big portions. The table was also promptly collected once we'd finished. Very impressive. We visited the restaurant and roofbar and peeked into the nightclub. On another review. The hotels location is perfect, steps away from a metro, the river as we usually stay in the Left Bank, and the Bastille monument. I found some of the little cafes nearby charming and not touristy. Think we've found a new preferred area and hotel.

Highly recommend! Staff friendly, helpful, happy to speak English and they go the extra mile. Smart elevators take you to your floor with just a scan of your room key! Our 14th floor King room was very comfortable! Quiet! Bathroom and shower clean and well lit. We loved the room light controls of various settings easily accessed from bedside. The view was fantastic! It’s the tallest building in the neighborhood. Location is very close to the river, Notre Dame, Saint Chapelle and numerous wonderful shops, bakeries and restaurants. We love walking and so much is within 30 min walk. The restaurant, Bonnie, has incredible view on 15th floor and serves fantastic breakfasts with ordered hot dishes and buffet of great variety of healthy options and gluten free options (we noticed but do not require gluten free) Dinner at Bonnie is highly recommended and met and exceeded our expectations. We are a professional couple with high standards and know high end hotels. This is one of them!

Perched confidently on the banks of the Seine in Paris’s 4th arrondissement, SO/ Paris is a bold reimagination of a 1960s administrative tower turned haute hospitality, where sweeping views meet striking interiors. As the 10th property in Accor’s SO/ collection, it opened its doors in summer 2022 with spaces crafted by RDAI and David Chipperfield Architects, merging retro-futuristic energy with polished Parisian chic. It’s an aesthetic triumph—daring without being brash, refined without losing edge. The 162 rooms and suites occupy floors 7 through 14, and I stayed in an Iconic – Paris Skyline Room on the 13th, a 28m² haven designed by Didier Gomez. Think soft neutral palettes, plush carpeting underfoot, and warm wood tones that whisper understated luxury. Two lounge chairs, a coffee table, king-size bed, and generous wardrobe round out the space, while thoughtful tech like a flat-screen TV, sound system, and Nespresso machine lend contemporary comfort. The open-plan bathroom boasts a large rain shower, heated towel rack, single sink, and CODAGE toiletries—a Parisian indulgence. The toilet sits separately, preserving privacy. Daily housekeeping—twice daily, in fact—includes turndown service with bottled water and charming extras. A sweet touch: two small cakes awaited me upon arrival. Where SO/ Paris truly excels is in its skyline seduction. Towering windows frame the Seine, Eiffel Tower, and rooftop tapestry of Paris like an ever-changing art piece. From rosy dawns to blue twilight, the view never disappoints. Breakfast is served at Bonnie Restaurant on the 15th floor—a stylish perch with potential. The modest buffet selection includes cold cuts, smoked salmon, pastries, fruit, yoghurt, and cheeses, with à la carte options like Eggs Benedict and Crêpes included. Sadly, the experience faltered: dishes arrived cold, staff engagement was lackluster, and guests were inexplicably barred from dining on the stunning terrace despite perfect weather, resulting in cramped indoor seating. Bonnie redeems itself slightly at lunch and dinner, serving elegant contemporary French fare with global accents: lobster linguine, black angus ribeye, and seasonal seafood grace a panoramic plate. Up one level, Bonnie Bar & Club kicks into high gear with signature cocktails and a retro-glam aesthetic that channels 60s and 70s Paris—complete with electro-disco nights and sweeping views. Disappointingly, the spa and pool facilities have vanished—outsourced without access for hotel guests, yet signage misleadingly suggests otherwise. A sleek fitness center has been set up on the 7th floor: high-tech, daylight-filled, and open 24/7, with cardio equipment, free weights, and Scandinavian-style machines. Final Verdict: SO/ Paris dazzles with bold design and epic views, but falters where it shouldn’t: inattentive service, missteps at breakfast, and absent amenities undermine its luxury aspirations. It's a magnetic property with untapped potential—one that invites you to look out at Paris, yet leaves you wishing it looked inward with the same clarity.

The SO is a super chic modern hotel right at the edge of Le Marais. The staff are very attentive and professional. The restaurant and rooftop bar are outstanding (some of the best views in all of Paris). Outstanding room service. Good sized, clean and well appointed rooms. The spa is small, but nice and the services were very good. All told it is a great hotel and we will definitely be back!

We stayed at SO/ Paris in late May 2025 and had a fantastic experience from start to finish. Breakfast each morning was a highlight, with a lovely variety of options and amazing views from the restaurant—such a perfect way to start the day! Most mornings we weren’t in a hurry, but on the one day we needed to be out quickly, the staff made sure we were accommodated so we could stay on schedule. We booked through the AMEX Fine Hotels & Resorts program. While we weren’t able to get the upgrade due to the hotel being at capacity, everything else was spot-on, including a much-appreciated early check-in after our long flight from LAX. My husband is pretty picky about beds, but he kept raving about how comfortable the bed was—and we both slept incredibly well each night. The room was cozy, quiet, and the turndown service added a nice touch. For Paris (and Europe) standards, the room was nicely sized—nothing over the top, but definitely comfortable and fully adequate. The staff were wonderful: very friendly and always greeting us warmly when we came in. There’s a younger team here, which brings a fun, energetic vibe to the atmosphere. The location was fantastic: very walkable with plenty to explore nearby, and the metro station was just around the corner. We’ve already recommended SO/ Paris to friends and family. Overall, we were extremely pleased with our stay—the experience and value were exactly what we hoped for at this price point. Can’t wait to come back!
