Reviews for SO/ Paris

My new favorite place to stay in Paris!

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 1 week ago

This hotel is a real gem, and I'm likely to return here next time I'm in Paris. Because of its location along the river, the hotel has awesome views -- including those from my 11th floor "Iconic Paris Skyline" room, as well as from the restaurant and bar on the 15th and 16th floors. Beyond the views, the hotel just seems to get all the details, big and small, just right. The service -- from check in, to the restaurant, to housekeeping -- was flawless. The nightly turn down and evening treat (which changed every day) was a delightful way to end each day. Housekeeping was excellent and consistent. My room was large, spotless, and comfortable, and looked just like the pictures on the website. The welcome treat in my room was also delightful and unexpected, especially as a brand new All Accor member and first time visitor at this hotel, but made me feel VIP. The gym is large, with several bikes and treadmills, a rowing machine, and free weights and machines. The restaurants and bar are fantastic -- daily breakfast is solid, dinner was delicious (but fancy, so bring a nice outfit), and don't miss a late afternoon/early evening at the bar, sipping a wine or cocktail while looking out over the City of Light. Finally, location is really subjective depending on your needs, but it was great for someone like me who enjoys Paris on foot. It was a pleasant, 20-40 minute walk toward my destinations on either side of the river (e.g., Marais, Bastille, Republique, Quartier Latin, etc.), but there's a Metro stop within a block, and a grocery and pharmacy within 3-5 minutes if you need anything. Obviously, overall I was quite impressed with this hotel. I don't rate many places five stars, but SO/ Paris deserves it.

Great stay!!

Visited Paris with my husband after 18 years to celebrate our 31 st anniversary in January . The staff were amazing and the amenities superb. There was a hiccup with our dinner booking but the staff made up for it by quickly taking corrective measures. The roof top breakfast had so many choices and the staff here too were wonderful. Overall, it was a memorable trip!!

This is a boutique luxury hotel that has some design quirks typical of what you would find in a Parisian hotel in terms of layout. We stayed in the junior suite and I’ve had better rooms before: #1 Toilet is not connected to the bathroom and the toilet sink is TINY #2 there’s a large hallway with a closet which makes the room feel large but is actually the same size as a deluxe room #3 There was a shaky noise coming from the media console table that we called to bring to the staffs attention. They sent a technician, but he thought the sound was coming from the vent. We thought it was fixed but the noise came back again… Staff is super nice and friendly, good location however, I will not be staying here again.

SO SO GOOD !!!

Fairly new modern hotel located in a predominayely residential areawhich means public transport needed to access the city centre. Rooms very compfotable with an amazing bed. We were lucky to have a room with an Eifel tower view in the distance.Bar andrestaurant on the 16th floor where we enjoyed dinner amongst what seemed like the pozy clicky set of Paris ! We lovdd our woofer doggy speaker in our room and was imagining it in our home in London. Also was impressed the Galician Nordic Gin in our mini bar. Fernando Nieto dining out and very high in Paris visiting from London.

Modern Glamour with Iconic Paris Views

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 2 months ago

SO/ Paris delivers a bold, contemporary take on Parisian luxury — and from our high-floor corner room, the city truly felt at our feet. The sweeping views were a highlight of our stay: the Seine flowing below, the surrounding cityscape, and in the distance, a glimpse of the Eiffel Tower completing the skyline. The floor-to-ceiling sliding windows flooded the room with natural light, creating an airy, luminous space that felt both energizing and serene. The design throughout the hotel is striking — modern, trendy, and unmistakably in line with the SO/ brand’s signature aesthetic. We love the vibrant interiors and the stylish public spaces. Breakfast and meals are served on the top floor, offering impressive views to accompany the dining experience. A small tip: arrive early, as the space becomes quite popular and seating can feel tight during peak hours. Check-in was seamless and welcoming — we were graciously offered welcome drinks upon arrival. The hotel’s central location is another advantage, just a couple of blocks from the metro, making it easy to explore the city. For travelers seeking contemporary design, panoramic views, and a lively atmosphere in the heart of Paris, SO/ Paris would be a good choice.
