Not ready for business. Not ski in ski out. Very inconvenient to everything. Have to take a shuttle everywhere. Hotel is surrounded by construction. View over the reservoir always looks over the highway.

Location is okay if Deer Valley got snow, otherwise its in an isolated area that is full of construction. You will need Jordanelle view to face nature, the front of the hotel is facing construction of a new 4 seasons that in Mock ups will be taller than Hyatt. The service still has "new staff" problems, everyone is nice, but has issues with anticipating service and areas like valet/bell hop are understaffed or very slow. Food is okay, but very limited for a long stay. It is fine for a 3 day weekend. Value is appropriate for the area far from DV snow base. At the ski valet there is wagon pulled by a pick up truck to get people to the open lift/gondola. That is only if DV starts the lifts and or gondola on time. Otherwise you will need a DV specific shuttle to go to main Snow Park Base or Jordanelle Gondola.

What an amazing experience at the Deer Valley Grand Hyatt. The military concierge was amazing and took great care of us. When we got into our room it was decorated 40th anniversary. They left a treat to make the occasion so special. All the staff were amazing.

Overall, we enjoyed our stay. The hotel is nice and modern, with great common areas and a very well-equipped gym. The rooms are comfortable, the bed is incredible, and the bathroom is spacious and very nice. Most of the staff were friendly and attentive. The in-house rental equipment is very convenient, and the staff were friendly; however, they could be more knowledgeable about selecting the right equipment based on weather conditions, trail availability, and gondola opening times. There was construction noise, and our mountain-view room faced a construction site. Housekeeping was occasionally inconsistent. While complimentary coffee and infusions were offered at certain times, it would be great to have the option to purchase coffee and enjoy it in the lobby at any time. Valet parking should not be the only option. The game room could use more entertainment options for teens and young adults. Dining was a highlight—Remington Hall was excellent, and both the Remington Lounge and Double Black were also very good options.

I stayed at the Grand Hyatt Deer Valley for my birthday trip (1st time in Utah), and although it started off rocky due to my friend's flight getting canceled , leaving me to explore solo, the staff truly turned my experience around. From the moment I arrived, the staff were extremely welcoming. I unfortunately forgot the name of the gentleman who checked me in, but he took the time to explain the hotel thoroughly and even game me a map so I can explore the property. On my way to the room, Dolores warmly greeted me and asked I needed anything before heading upstairs. My room was nice and clean (the view wasn't the best, but that's okay) While exploring Utah on my own, I spent some time in the lobby area listening to the piano player while waiting on my uber. a staff member named Tracey noticed I was alone and introduced herself. I explained why I was traveling solo, and she asked if I had experienced Remington Hall yet. I told her I had, but that I also had a dinner reservation there later that evening. That night, Tracey went about and beyond by coordinating with the restaurant staff to make my dinner truly memorable. The entire Remington hall team treated me like royalty. A special shout out to Sebastian, who recommend everything from drinks to appetizer to my entree, every single choice was amazing! (he really knows his stuff!). To my surprise, if felt like the entire Remington hall staff came out to sing Happy Birthday to me, which was a touching moment. I also want to thank Tracey again for making my stay so special. She always checked in to make sure I was okay and asked If I needed anything before she left for the day. Her kindness truly stood out. While the rooms were clean, I did experience a few hiccups during my stay. That said, the staff responded quickly and handled everything professionally. I would recommend doing a room check upon arrival just to be safe. Overall, I had a gret stay. The hotel is beautiful, and the staff are incredibly friendly and attentive. While I do plan to explore other hotels when I visit Park city in the future, I hope to return to this property and give it another stay.
