Our stay at the Grand Hyatt in Deer Valley was nothing short of exceptional. Even though this season hasn’t delivered a ton of snow, the experience at the hotel more than made up for it. The level of service here is truly world-class. From the moment we arrived, the team went above and beyond to take care of every detail. Every request we had was handled quickly and with a genuine willingness to help. The staff was always ready to assist with luggage, coordinate transportation, and make getting to and from the mountain completely effortless. That kind of attention makes a huge difference when you’re traveling. A special thank you to Harshal at the front desk, who did an absolutely phenomenal job. He was professional, attentive, and made sure everything about our stay went smoothly. It’s rare to find someone who delivers service at that level consistently, and it really stood out. Hospitality like this is what turns a good trip into a great one. If I could give this hotel an 11 out of 10, I would without hesitation. The team here clearly takes pride in what they do, and it shows in every interaction. Highly recommend staying here if you’re visiting Deer Valley. Outstanding service, amazing staff, and an experience that truly exceeded expectations.

No snow - like, brown. Construction and cranes everywhere. Views of the freeway. They pretend this is Park City but it’s not - it’s off the freeway right before Heber. Took us 35 min to drive to dinner on Main Street. Last visit.

Heated pool, multiple hot tubs, complimentary ski locker service. A lot of construction going on around it as the multiple resort complex being built out is underway. This didn’t detract from my stay however. Just fyi. Not yet a true ski in/out either, as that’s all being built out too. But- free shuttles to the ski resorts (deer valley and park city) running to/from every 30 min, with convenient pick up right outside the ski locker area. The ski butler service will have your equipment set up on the ski racks outside in the morning so you can put on your boots and go. Also free shuttle service to/from Main Street Park City every 30 min until 10pm! Breakfast buffet had a lot of variety, changed daily (the 2 days we were there), and good quality. Staff was very friendly and helpful across all segments of the hotel. I’d go back. Kids had a great time.

Great visit. Really enjoyed having Mandar as our waiter at Remington Hall.

We stayed at Grand Hyatt Deer Valley in February 2026 and left pretty disappointed—especially given the pricing and “luxury resort” positioning. What went wrong: Spa amenities: No steam room or sauna. Paying $275 for a one-hour massage sets an expectation that the spa includes more than just treatment rooms. The gym is adequate. Fees and upcharges: $50/$80 day valet-only parking (no self-park option) $40/day resort fee $3 charge for a splash of cranberry It all adds up and feels excessive. It's not ski-in/ski-out -- you need to take a shuttle to/from the mountain each day. Rooms: NYC-small, and windows don’t open, which made the room feel stuffy. Construction: Dust everywhere around the hotel—concerning if you have allergies. Housekeeping: Our room wasn’t cleaned until after we called at 4:30pm. Ski operations: On Sunday morning it took two hours to get a ski locker—clearly understaffed. Check-in: Our room wasn’t ready until 4:45pm due to “inspection.” Dining: Overcooked meal at Remington’s. Sent the steak back that was overcooked. Overall, the hotel charges like a top-tier resort, but the experience felt understaffed, disrupted by construction, and overly fee-heavy. We won’t be returning.
