Litchfield Beach & Golf Resort

I enjoyed our stay even though the weather was cold and rainy. Rooms had a lovely view of the beach. We had a spacious condo that allowed us to entertain comfortably. The beds were comfortable, the kitchen facilities spacious, very clean. Outside balcanony was huge with a lovely view of the ocean and able to hear the surf! Parking space roomy and elevator worked well.

Absolutely terrible. We stayed in a side by side two room, kitchen, family area. Seemed like a timeshare or someone’s condo. The decor is very dated, 60’s or 70’s. The shower had mold on the floor and walls. A light fixture was hanging by its wires from the ceiling. Numerous electrical outlets did not work. The air conditioning in the side rooms was from the 60s, loud and on and off all night. The beds saged terribly. Over the course of our three night stay we had to replace our electric room key’s eight 8 times. The splash pad and children pool area was not working. Nor was any food or beverage area open around the pool area. Be aware of the additional service charges, the increase the total cost by over 60% Management did not respond to our mid stay survey. The front desk employee listened but were no help solving the issues.

Please be advised that the amenities are currently not available! There is definitely false advertising going on. We just returned from our 9 day stay and nothing was open and /or available. The pool and lazy river were both closed. The Tiki bar, restaurant, ice cream shoppe and store are all closed. I would advise you to call before you reserve this location and if you have prior reservations, you may want to reconsider and definitely call before you begin your travels here.

Good location. Just embarrassingly DIRTY to the point of unsafe. Mould in the showers. Shower floor looks like it’s never been cleaned and the door locks don’t work. They should be ashamed to run a place like this. Better in the jungle…………..

We loved our experience at Summerhouse. It was clean, well stocked and very roomy for a family of five. There was easy access to the beach and nice amenities. My kids enjoyed the indoor pool and my husband enjoyed the sauna. It was very peaceful and quiet the last week of March.
