We love Crown Towers Perth, the rooms, view, service, cleaning team - honestly it is our favourite staycation. Feels like we are miles away from normal life and yet we are 15mins from home. The pool area is lovely and we tend to pay a bit extra and go for a daybed or cabana so we can have a base by the pool. We have stayed in many different room categories including the studio, premium king view, Premier Club Suite and the Villas and honestly they are all lovely. Spacious and great bathrooms. we have always found the service to be very good and the special touches like chocolates on our pillow, little welcome cards, special occasion cakes, sparkling wine and sometimes even champagne a lovely surprise and makes your arrival even more special. Room service menu has lots of options and food & drinks usually arrive within 30mins. Also love the fact you can pre order for the next day. So your morning coffee is ready when you wake up. Thank you to the team at Crown Towers - we love staying here ❤️❤️

The Crown Towers is a great attraction and premier complex to have in Perth, however the overall value has to be questioned. Rooms in the Crown Towers are pretty expensive and for that price I believe almost everything should be running spot on. The rooms were spotless, large with next to no noise other than an evacuation alarm in a nearby building early in the morning. The pools are great fun, however they could be doing with some maintenance. There are traffic cones blocking off some damaged drains around the pool which doesn’t look great from a visual point of view. There also seems to be some flooding and drainage issues around the pool area in places meaning you can’t leave a bag or anything on the ground. The temperature of the pools is excellent and the staff are pleasant and attentive. There is, however, a major issue with sunbed reservations where some people are prevented from doing so in the morning but hours long reservations were common place in the afternoon. The hotel should put up some signs or notices on sun beds to make it crystal clear that sunbed reservations are not permitted. Unfortunately one of the lifeguards took our items away and lost one of our hats which was never returned to us. There also seems to be a really bad habit by some waitstaff to remove drinks and food before they are finished as we had a drink taken away with only 1/3 of it drank. Thankfully this was replenished at no cost, however we observed another family having their kids meals and drinks taken away prematurely only for one of the parents to catch the waitstaff before they had taken it away for good. We had a ghost payment from the minibar which we did not use. The hotel staff have agreed to refund us, however we had to chase this up. For anyone with dietary requirements such as gluten free/gluten intolerance then the whole facility is well stocked and prepared. Everyone was smartened up to what did and didn’t have gluten in it. Also the Epicurean restaurant had everything very clearly labelled with allergens. There was a good GF section at breakfast which was worth the wait!

Disappointing couples break. The overall stay was satisfactory, however for the price you pay there was some disappointing inconveniences. Upon check-in, there was no sun loungers available beside the pool with many appearing to have been ‘saved’ by tenants away for hours. We made do with some down a path away from the pool. I like kids, however I don’t appreciate them exploring the pool area unclothed when I’m trying to relax with my significant other, I recognise that the kid was not in the adults only area, but they were only a few feet away. Upon arrival to our room, I noticed a faint stale smell. We disregarded this and continued to explore the beautiful room. After coming back from dinner and being away for 4 hours out of the room, I returned and smelled the same smell and noticed water seeping from the toilet bowl. The staff were very quick to clean this up, however it returned within 15 minutes of their departure and I do believe it would be very coincidental if we were the first tenants as I did noticed the tiles were stained where the water was slowing seeping from the silicone at the base of the toilet. in As it was already after 11’ o clock, we made do with the inconvenience and didn’t want to have to change rooms. The following morning we also made use of the pool, this time getting two chairs right beside the pool closest to the adults only pool. Again, our experience here was affected by kids playing. Although their parents nearby, they continued to jump in and out of the pool at our feet, continually splashing water on us. One day after checkout, we were also charged a bill for the use of the minibar. I had to contact the hotel and although admit we took beverages out of the minibar, it was only so we could fit our bottles of water inside, the beverages remained sealed in the draw beside the bar. The amount is to be refunded to me in the next days. I would definitely return, but for a hotel that is branded to be so luxurious, I do believe that during my stay there was too many inconveniences for me to share this opinion.

For the price of food to room, I thought it would be great. It was average. Oysters are tiny. Pizza warm and gluey, not cooked enough. Crystal club lounge, was nice, cool, almost fun, food was okay, drink included made me get heart burn and vomit few hr later. Nice but expected more.

With Crown Perth preparing for their 40th Anniversary we contemplated all our various Crown things over the decades – friends performing in the casino lounge in the late 80s, feasts in the Atrium with long gone family, kids loving the glass lift in the Metropol and the slowest pool slide ever, all sorts of shows at the Theatre, that long walkway into Rockpool…. And a little 18 year annual tradition of avoiding the family drama by staying for the three days prior to Christmas so we stroll into Christmas Day super relaxed. Of our possible 35 stays over three decades, there’s been the occasional issue – a very expensive dress that went missing on checkout and a 2am drone at our window are a bit beyond management’s control. A seamless room swap when the airconditioning wasn’t working was. Everyone I speak to knows the hotel room hacks for those pervasive appliance lights that pierce the darkness meant for sleep. The juggle of towels saving poolside lounges for absent guests…. But this stay I had the sort of sleep issues from my room that saw me in tears in the lobby at 2am. A morning chat with the GM seemed to go nowhere and by the time we got to the pool all the lounges were taken. Another tear started to roll. And then in swooped the pool manager Steve to save the day, finding us a lovely spot and the sort of customer service attention to totally turn the mood. What a lovely day. Then the GM found us to confirm the problem was sorted – something that apparently couldn’t be solved when Mariah Carey complained of the same issue! Ha. It's easy to write a glowing review when everything is running smoothly. It’s a great sign to be able to write positively when things have not been so smooth. We’ll be back in the 41st year….
