Exceptional stay

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 3 weeks ago

Enjoyed the stay thoroughly. Redeemed birthday treat. We were given an upgrade. A birthday cake with macarons was waiting when we checked into the room. The team made me feel special. The breakfast buffet spread was excellent with a good spread covering all the different diets. The restaurant options are amazing. We dined at the Mas Vino and Uma restaurant. Both restaurants had exemplary choices of dishes. The customer service and the food were beyond expectation. The place is right in the city's centre, giving accessibility to all prime spots within walking distance. Hats off to the team. Highly recommend the place!!!

Building noise from 7.30am

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 1 month ago

Although this hotel is well located and nicely appointed, they are currently renovating and the construction noise starts at 7.30am, even on Saturday. Rooms are full price and nothing offered to compensate guests. I would avoid staying here until the renovations end. Nothing was mentioned about this at the time of booking.

Great Location

The room was nice, the executive lounge was very good but breakfast was not good. Additionally there was no Nespresso machine in the room which is pretty standard for an executive room in other hotels. Breakfast choices were not regularly replaced on the buffet so the food was mostly cold. Specialty coffees were not included and the coffee from the machines was not good. Additionally there was building going on in the hotel which is fine but It would have been nice if there had been drink vouchers or coffee vouchers offered in recognition of any inconvenience.

A wonderful staycation right in Perth CBD

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 1 month ago

It was the first time my wife & I spend a night with ‘PPP staycation’ with our kids, and all of them are now wanting to return! 😊 The service was exemplary from pre-check in (Rachael H and Louise M with my booking) to check in (Tara was delightful at reception, while training a new staff) & during our stay (Rebecca, Mina & the Pacific Club Lounge staff) right through to the housekeeper, Santa (who proactively gave us hot choc powder when I requested more milk for my kids). From the various reviews re renovation noises, we were very fortunate as we stayed in a Pacific Club suite in a separate wing on L5 to L8 accessible via its own executive lifts, where the rooms are yet to be renovated, hence no noise issues at all. Even though our room on 8th floor was showing signs of age pre-renovation, it was still lovely, spacious and more importantly clean with the requested cot already setup nicely upon arrival. The heated outdoor pool was a welcome distraction for our little ones too. We also particularly enjoyed the calm ambience and cosiness of the Pacific Club Lounge on L7 during our stay. The evening canapes offering was also delightfully well spread, diverse and substantial too with lovely staff topping up & replenishing as required. The buffet breakfast spread at Monty’s was also good, & we found the serving hours from 0630-1000 a generous timeframe. We did note that there was no hot choc/mocha option nor extensive Asian cuisine at Monty’s but we like the ‘Made to order’ omelette station. Rebecca from Monty’s was delightful in arranging for a hot choc for my kids, testimony of the customer service attitude. We look forward to check out the finished products when the hotel is fully renovated shortly!

Genuinely relaxing staycation

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 1 month ago

My family visited for an Easter staycation. We’d always previously stayed at pan pacific child free. This time we brought our 3 year old. We’ve stayed many times at this hotel since 2015 and it’s been consistently a pleasure to visit. Don’t get me wrong, there have occasionally been unavoidable inconveniences such as waiting for room check-ins or noisier than desired upstairs guests, this has always been few and far between, is standard staying in hotels and always dealt with kindness and willingness to resolve. I’ve always loved the lobby, it’s so inviting. The staff were friendly and helpful as always, the spaces and room clean and well cared for. Some slightly older but an expansive refurbishment is well under way, honestly though for the service and inclusions, I’m not convinced there is not a better valued hotel in Perth. If you’re coming to visit Perth, stay in a club suite, try the pavlova sour in the hill st bar, it’s absolutely delicious with local product. Thank you ppp for such an amazing weekend. X
