Staff made us feel like royalty
We recently celebrated my wife’s birthday by staying for two nights at The Gleneagles Hotel. From the moment we arrived the staff made us feel like royalty and created a once in a lifetime experience. We made the most of the large grounds golfing, clay pigeon shooting and walking around the lake. The food was excellent in all restaurants incl. The Stathearn, Birnham & Dormy House, with a special mentioned to the breakfast which was on another level. Would definitely recommend to stay as a celebration for couples or family to make the most of all that Gleneagles has to offer!

Double Birthday Celebration in the Glen.
Our family had a great birthday get together at Gleneagles which excels in the autumn colours of the hotel grounds and estate. From the moment that we arrived at the complimentary hotel valet parking and bell team, to the restaurant/bar and leisure staff as well as the front desk team, we were looked after in such a special and memorable way. During our stay we had amazing meals while enjoying some of the extra outdoor activities. As always at Gleneagles, the rooms are so comfortable that you could stay there the whole day if you wanted just to relax and unwind. A big thank you to Harry in leisure for helping my 6 year old grandson for completing the low ropes adventure course for his birthday. Also a big thank you to Louise at front desk for outstanding service to us as a family for making this occasion special also for my daughter Grace Louise. Looking forward to returning again tho the “Glen”.

Afternoon Tea was great but overpriced at £75 per head. But more sandwiches, please!
The Gleneagles Afternoon Tea in the Glendevon Room was an amazing offering of canapés, exquisite pâtissérie and baking, creativity that we have never seen before. Great service and atmosphere. The only down side is that the savouries were nearly all single mouthful canapés and only 3 tiny sandwiches. Afternoon tea should be a good balance of both. We ate at 4pm and left at 6pm, and were hungry again by the time we got home to Stirling! We felt that although it was all top quality, the savoury offering should have been more substantial. £75 per head is also a huge amount and has gone up significantly from the £50 we paid around 3 years ago when we were there last. Still, it was a great way for the 4 of us to celebrate my mother's 90th birthday.
