Lovely little hotel with amazing staff

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 1 week ago

Just back from 2 weeks stay at this lovely hotel and we can see why it’s rated so well on trip advisor. We had the “basic” premier room but it was lovely, everything we needed, slippers dressing gowns and tea/coffee making facilities. While we were there, there were only a few other guests, so we did feel like it was our own private villa. No issues with worrying about subbed as the staff made sure they were laid out with fresh towels every morning. Breakfast was lovely, choose what you want off the menu and how you like it, with fruit, fruit juices, croissants and so on. Lunch and dinner were also lovely, though we did go out to eat a fair bit as my partner only eats certain foods.. ie Pizza lol. We loved this little hotel and how quiet it was, but still easy to walk to shops/ restaurants. The staff are all lovely and made us feel very pampered and at home, thanks everyone… we will be back 😁

Outstanding

Where to start! The experience we had at Anda Mani was one of the best. We have stayed in a lot of hotels across the world and this stands out as one of the best. From the moment we arrived until the moment we left, we were treated like we were very special. When we arrived, the team were waiting at the gate for us and promptly took our luggage to our room while we were checked in. We were given a nice cold towel and a drink then Jeab took us across to our room and explained everything to us. Later on, Kris the Manager, came round and introduced himself to us, which we thought was lovely. There are 10 rooms in total here and you honestly feel like you are the only ones there (although you do see the other guests) Each time I swam in the pool, I was the only one in it and I spent a good few hours just reading my book chilling in the pool. We stayed for 10 nights and had booked through Luxury Escapes so we had breakfast, dinner and a massage included. The food is outstanding. There is a good choice at each. The dinner is served on the lawn each night over looking the sea and is just stunning. Kris would always come round and have a chat and check everything was OK. We liked this, as we always feel it is important for the Manager to show an interest. A few days in, and we had a problem in the room but Kris dealt with it so quickly and moved us the minute we reported it. Outstanding service.. The massage, which was included in our deal, was excellent. They set you up on the lawn, in front of the sea, so it is so relaxing. I got 2 hours worth as my husband wasn't very well so I had his, which was an added bonus :) All in all, if you want or need to get a way for peace and total quiet, then this is the place. If you want nightlife and partying then this is not the place for you as there isn't anything going on really at night. We would like to say a huge thank you to Kris and ALL of the staff. There is not one member of staff that didn't smile and say hello to us each time we passed and they literally bend over backwards to please. Kris, you should be very proud of your team, please pass on our thanks to them. We really did not want to leave (first time in a long long time in a hotel) We really hope to be back again soon...

Wonderful Boutique Gem

We stayed here for 3 nights over Easter, it's an easy 1 hour from Phuket airport & the transfer we arranged through the hotel was seamless. The resort itself is probably the best option in the area certainly for couples, the other resorts were much larger and very family orientated. We were upgraded to a villa which was huge and stunning, the bed was sat up on a high platform - I guess that may not be ideal if you are older but for us it was perfect with a view out to the ocean, the bathroom was also huge. with a massive sunken couples bath, during turndown each evening they lit the oil burner next to the bath which was beautiful as well as leaving treats on the bed. The sunset and sip each evening was a lovely touch and different each time, the freshly cooked and made to order breakfast was lovely, we also ate at the villas the night we arrived and the food was better than any of the local restaurants we tried, as well as a lovely setting in the gardens over looking the beach. As all the reviews mention the staff, Kris and all the staff were absolutely delightful and do make the stay all the more special. We booked directly and it was great value for money and such an easy long weekend option from Singapore.

An outstanding experience in Khao Lak...

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 2 months ago

This was our first visit to Khao Lak and Phang Nga and it was one of the best vacations we’ve had anywhere in Thailand. This lovely boutique hotel with just 10 rooms has a stunning beachfront on a nice, calm beach next to a national park. From the moment we arrived, we enjoyed how charming and peaceful the hotel was. The staff, particularly K. Kris, K. Jeab, K. Pen, K. Fon, and K. Em, provided exceptionally genuine and personalized service, making our stay so memorable, we got tattoos nearby in the tiny and walkable mooban. The hotel is spacious and clean, with a very nice pool. We sat in a large courtyard overlooking the wide-open beach every afternoon, easily accessible to the ocean. The complimentary cocktails at sunset were an enjoyable treat that added to our relaxation and enjoyment of the beautiful surroundings. Breakfast and dinner were both delicious. We leave Khao Lak refreshed, relaxed, and rejuvenated, and we will definitely return.

An intimate and secret retreat in Khao Lak

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 2 months ago

A lovely small property to rest in Khao Lak, right on the beach facing sunset. Only 10 rooms, so the manager and staff get to customize their service and make you feel very homey and comfy. Full of small attentions, from sunset cocktails to turn down. Rooms are spacious and the terraces in front great spots to read a book or sip a drink.
