Anantara Rasananda Koh Phangan Villas

Fantastic staff and a warm welcome from everyone! A fantastic hotel enhanced by the wonderful staff! The room we had was upstairs on the 1st floor (they’re either on the ground of up one flight of stairs), a lovely spacious room with a very big bed a his and hers bathroom and shower that was massive, each room had its own pool too. The food was of an excellent quality the beach bbq was wonderful, the breakfasts spoilt us each day. All the staff were brilliant and it wouldn’t be fair to pick out an individual for good service because they looked after us so well. We got the feeling that the staff weren’t just being nice and polite because they had but they were genuinely pleased to have us as their guests. Two lovely pools and plenty of sun beds on the beach and they can be reserved for everyone so no worries about getting one. The beach was very clean with no litter anywhere. Ideally placed if you fancy a walk into the small town if you fancy a drink or food out of the hotel. The hotel improvised transport and a speed boat ride back Koh Samui when we left amazing service. This is probably the best hotel we have ever stayed in and if we come back to Thailand this is where we will stay. Just to finish,the hotel is great the staff were truly amazing from the security guards, the welcome on arrival the front desk, the ladies that maintained the rooms , the gardeners, the bar staff, all the waitering staff the chef’s and in fact everyone we came into contact with, they are an asset to the hotel, the management must be proud of them!

WOW! This is one of the best hotels we have stayed in. From the moment we arrived we were greeted with warmth, smiles and exceptional service. The hotel itself is stunning, set on a beach front location with a tropical vibe. The location is perfect with white sandy beach and views of the surrounding bay. The room was beautifully decorated, very clean, very comfortable bed and the outside space with plunge pool and seabirw was just perfect. It was peaceful and the most amazing way to relax. Beach side bar and restaurant is fab and served amazing food with exceptional hospitality and service. We would like to say a special thank you to Top who looked after us throughout, so helpful and kind and really elevated the experience for us. Would also like tho thank Htien who looked after us at the beach. We were also greeted by the hotel manager Alti when we arrived which was really nice to see. The staff here all seem extremely happy and this is evident in the service that they provide and the genuine customer care. We will be back to visit again and will be recommending to family and friends. This was an incredible experience and the highlight of our time in Thailand, such a unique and special place we cannot recommend it enough.

Our stay at the Anantara Rasananda was absolutely perfect! The hotel is beautiful, located on an amazing beach, surrounded by lush tropical jungle. Our room was perfect. It was really large with separate dressing room and bar area. The private garden, daybed and plunge pool were amazing and then being able to walk straight out onto the beach was like being in paradise. Our villa host Ping was always on hand to organise things or answer questions when needed. In the restaurant, the staff were brilliant, taking great care of us everyday, especially Sukko and Sunny who always ensured we were taken care of. The service was outstanding from all staff, nothing was too much trouble. The food and drinks were top quality with a good variety of options. There were also plenty of wonderful local bars and restaurants within a 10 minute walk. The spa was amazing. A beautiful setting and friendly knowledgable staff. The beach was beautiful and, although the sea was a little rougher than hoped due to wind, we still managed to swim in the sea everyday. The hotel transfers were great, we especially enjoyed the speedboat transfer to Koh Samui. We will not hesitate to book again at The Rasananda and definitely looking forward to trying other Anantara resorts.

We spent two nights in this beautiful place and enjoyed every second of it. From the moment we were picked up by speedboat in Koh Samui to the farewell from the lovely staff, everything was perfect. The entire hotel area is stunning – a beautiful beach, lovely rooms, friendly staff, and last but not least, amazing food! We stayed in many five-star hotels during our trip to Thailand, but this one was by far the best. 100% recommended – we will definitely come back.
