Kimpton Hotel Palomar Phoenix

My wife and I visited Arizona, and we had the pleasure of being checked in by Daniel at the Kimpton Hotel Palomar Phoenix. My wife informed Daniel that we were in town celebrating our 30th wedding anniversary, as well as it was our first time visiting Arizona, and Daniel made sure to take care of us well to honor of our anniversary. Daniel, was very pleasant, friendly, and accommodating. We stayed here for two nights, we left, (because we were staying in other parts of Arizona), and then we came back to stay at the Kimpton Hotel Palomar Phoenix the night before we were scheduled to fly back home. When we approached the front desk we were so happy to see Daniel, my wife politely told the other front desk clerk that we wanted to deal with our friend Daniel once again. Daniel remembered us, (even though he joked with us indicating that since he sees so many faces that he didn’t remember us) he made it clear that he was joking, and once again he provided exceptional service. When we come back to visit again we will once again stay at the Kimpton Hotel Palomar Phoenix, as well as we will look for Daniel’s smiling face once again. Rico was awesome and helped get us checked in right away and gave us a bunch of different suggestions for things to do and helped us get checked in early. He was very accommodating. The room was amazing and from the very second we walked in it was a great experience!

Visited Phoenix for the first time and stayed at the Kimpton Hotel Palomar Phoenix. When we tried to check in shortly after 4 PM, we were told our room wasn’t ready and that we’d receive a text in about 30 minutes. Unfortunately, no text ever came, and after waiting for four hours, we returned to the front desk. A kind staff member assisted us and apologized, explaining that our room had actually been ready earlier and the issue was on their end. We were very frustrated by the miscommunication and delay. Giving 2 stars solely for the convenient location.

Outstanding experience, over several stays. From check in to check out - the associates were just amazingly helpful and courteous. Daniel at the front desk is always very friendly, welcoming, and ready to assist with anything to make my stay very enjoyable. The kind welcoming handwritten note in my room on arrival from the GM Joel is very much appreciated as well. Visited the on-site restaurant Blue Hound multiple times and Kyle and Alberto were very friendly and provided attentive service. Mo at Eden provided very friendly service as well. The night time valet Michael was very helpful to show me the in and out of the parking garage on arrival. The location is perfect, being so close to the sports venues and also the downtown restaurant scene. The property is very well maintained and clean. My first choice for Phoenix stays!
