White Lotus Accommodation, Motel 6 tricks
It pains me to write this because the property is so gorgeous. Prior to arrival and way after booking a deluxe suite at this property we received an email informing us the beachfront restaurant and pool would be under construction. Too late to cancel or change. Fine, I emailed and they gave us a percentage off F&B. We really had our hopes up after staying at Anantara Lawana in Koh Samui at the beginning of our trip. Mai Khao villas Phuket doesn't even compare. Upon check-in we realize we're not even on the hotel side, it's the vacation club villas. Confusion, Red flag. Nowhere mentioned during booking, no location, nothing. We're put up in an apartment reminding me of a studio in Jersey City. Couples vacation, not feeling like a couples vacation. I request to move to the hotel side. I'm accommodated but they're upselling a villa, red flag. We're on vacation, no pool on property to access. Felt cornered into a villa for 4 days, fine. Is this normal practice?

THE VILLAS WERE CRAZY. EVEN THE PRIVATE POOLS! SUCH A GOOD RESORT WITH LOADS OF ACTIVITIES. THE BEDS WERE SO COMFY. IF YOUR IN MAI KHAO YOU BETTER VISIT

Anantara paradise
The resort is wonderful. The Villas are lovely. The staff are fantastic. The food was wonderful. The breakfast selection was outstanding. There are many amenities in the villa. They have a well stocked wine fridge, minibar and plenty of complimentary bottles of water. It’s is very peaceful and tranquil.

Away from town but we love it !
This place is so new and so big ! We stayed for 3 nights in a condo with our own pool. Everything is incredible - including the breakfast, lunch, all the servers who served us and the Spa experience ! We joined a half day tour and a street food tour. The spa was excellent. This is truly Anantara 5 star experience. Beware it will take you more than an hour to go to Old town and everything. Nevertheless, we love the quietness around us compared to Phuket town so we can relax. The food onsite is really good. Not only Thai food, but burgers and pizzas and quesadilla tastes so good. The buffet breakfast is a must !!

We had such wonderful service from the Talad Team especially Fern who was always there to serve us and welcome us. Fern did an amazing job!!
