Awesome hotel and staff

Awesome hotel and staff. Great location and facilities. Food in Thai restaurant very good. Just disappointed we were only staying for one night!! Will definitely stay again if in the area. Beautiful views and amazing sunset from room 202.

Get a room with a pool

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 1 week ago

The good: View is spectacular from our Phang Nga pool suite. Pool is one of the cleanest private pools we had. Good size too. Room is super spacious for two adults. Breakfast is not bad although lacking varieties when comparing to some other lux hotels. Love the daily specials. Staff are all super lovely. The housekeeping lady for our floor (room 159) is the most thorough, hardworking housekeeping staff. Had some issues with our F&B experience but the management (Khun Chris and Khun Oui) acted promptly and had it sorted out immediately. The bad: Extremely far away from everything. Took 45 mins in a taxi to get to the old Phuket town. The public pool area needs better shades/umbrellas otherwise you might get burnt. The existing umbrellas literally do nothing. Hence my suggestion of getting a room with private pool. The hotel is quite small with not a lot to do, which suits us fine but if you have children I’d imagine you would run out of stuff to do pretty quickly. The hotel also needs more restaurants. There are no other restaurant options within walking distance. Two restaurants in a very remote hotel are simply not going to work. Also would suggest half board/full board options from the hotel. Tips: Grab for food delivery is a good option.

disappointing stay

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 3 weeks ago

We stayed in a family room with a private pool, and unfortunately, we were disappointed with several things. The furniture was clearly worn out and in poor condition—broken pieces both inside and outside. The two umbrellas by the pool were broken from the start and were never replaced, despite us reporting it. Same for the damaged doors in the kitchen—no one came to fix them during our entire stay. On the positive side, the hotel staff was friendly and helpful. That’s really the only highlight. As for the food, it was a major letdown. Breakfast offered very limited choices and the quality was poor. They use these strange baskets you have to lift to get to the food, which is really annoying and not very hygienic. Also, the breakfast area isn’t air-conditioned, so it gets incredibly hot in the morning. They put a few fans around, but they don’t help much. In the evenings, we tried both à la carte restaurants. The “Italian” restaurant had nothing Italian about it—the food was just bad, and the prices were far too high for what was served. The Thai restaurant was no better. And be careful when ordering for kids: the portions are tiny, like baby-sized. To sum it up: disappointing stay due to broken furniture and poor food, even though the staff were nice. The idea of a room with a private pool is appealing, but the reality didn’t live up to expectations.

Stunning views and friendly staff

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 2 months ago

The hotel has stunning views and the staff are the friendliest, especially the girls working in the hotel. The hotel is a little secluded so bear in mind that theres not much to go to. Noi was really sweet and always smiling and cleaned the room flawlessly anytime we asked her to.

The Whole Point

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 3 months ago

We visited for the third time over a period of 8 years, exceptional staff where everything is possible, they are very pleasant & welcoming, knowing us by name, the rooms are excellent, the pool area is laid back & peaceful with very comfortable good sizes sun loungers, the spa treatment we both had were excellent, probably one of the best we’ve had in a long time. Food was excellent except little more choice in the Thai restaurant would help. Overall excellent !
