Rosewood Phuket

We have always held the Rosewood brand in high regard for its exceptional standards. However, we believe this particular property does not align with the brand’s reputation for luxury. While the service in the restaurants was generally commendable, with the Thai restaurant standing out for its outstanding cuisine, several aspects require improvement. The wait times for buggy transportation were excessive, and the rooms, though adequate, would benefit from updates, particularly the pool on the terrace, which needs refurbishment. The most significant concern is the location. This property does not meet the expectations for a prime, luxury destination befitting a brand like Rosewood. The beach lacks cleanliness, and the presence of animal exploitation, such as elephant and horse riding, is deeply troubling. Additionally, the surrounding area of Patong is noticeably unclean, which detracts from the overall experience. While these environmental factors are beyond the hotel’s direct control, we believe Rosewood should reconsider establishing a presence in this location. Having experienced other Rosewood properties that consistently met the highest standards, we regret that this stay fell short of expectations. Unfortunately, we do not plan to return.

We recently stayed at the Rosewood Phuket and it was one of the best hotel experiences I’ve had anywhere in the world. The rooms, the restaurants, the beach and pools - everything was gorgeous. But what really made it stand out was the service. Every single person we met went out of their way to make sure we were having a great time. It was next-level hospitality. The food was a highlight—Ta Khai was our favorite meal of the entire trip. It had the most flavorful, authentic dishes we experienced in all of Thailand. The set menu was perfect for trying a bit of everything. And the setting - with gardens and ponds and the beach backdrop - was so peaceful and beautiful. We also loved Red Sauce - the chef there is from Italy and was so passionate and knowledgeable. You could tell he genuinely cared about every dish he served. But the absolute standout of our stay was our butler, Khun Nan. From the minute we arrived, she was on top of everything. She helped coordinate our plans, made all of our dinner and buggy arrangements, double-checked tour details and flights, and managed so many little details we didn’t even have to think about. I think we texted her a hundred times over our stay and she never missed a beat. What impressed us most was how intuitive she was—she would show up with umbrellas just before it started to rain, bring towels before a boat trip, or book a private van when we weren’t even sure where we wanted to go. She made things effortless and fun, and really helped us make the most of our time in Phuket. Nan is incredible and deserves major recognition for the care and attention she puts into her work. She is a true gem—professional, intuitive, warm, and incredibly capable. Her service was, quite simply, flawless. She genuinely made our trip special—and we can’t wait to come back.

We stayed at Rosewood for 7 nights in April with our family of 2 children, aged 5 and 3. The stay was nothing short of exceptional from start to finish and we can only recommend this hotel for part of your family holiday to Thailand. What we loved: - we stayed in the partial ocean view villa king and it was a great size for the 4 of us. We loved the decor and it truly felt like a home from home. We particularly enjoyed the little treats at turn down from gin and tonics to chocolate eggs for Easter! - The breakfast was simply amazing. Loved the juices and all the dishes on the menu with the addition of the treats on breakfast buffet. Unique concept where you chose what you want from the buffet and the staff created it to order and brought to your table. - My kids loved the Kids Club and would be asking to go each day. The staff were wonderful with them and they had such a wide range of activities from weaving scarves to Muay Thai! Knowing that my son was very into Pokémon they even bought some cards to play with the children. - After a week travelling around Thailand the free laundry of kids clothes was much appreciated! - The resort is beautiful, set in a rainforest. This brings wonderful wildlife to the resort such as the big lizard by the pool which is fun for both kids and adults. - The service by every person we met at the hotel was exceptional. They went above and beyond to ensure our stay was perfect and everyone had a fab time. - Book ahead for the Thai restaurant - amazing food and setting but to get the time you want book ahead. Our son enjoyed fishing his dinner out of the pond !

One of the best luxury hotels in Phuket! Suitable for families or couples. Beautiful beach. Unique and comfortable rooms. We were very impressed and will come back again. Thank you! Khun Fang Butler and Khun Rocky for taking good care of us.

AMAZING PLACE!! love the service and food! Extremely scenic location, truly a delight eating breakfast with the beach view! All the restaurants so food and well presented. Lastly, the room was very spacious and comfortable. The fruits left in the room were a highlight of our while trip! So delicious
