To be honest it wasn’t the best experience , I have been there before but this time around there where a lot of little details regarding the staff that we did not like . There was an exception though Evelyn our concierge was the person who made the trip worth it . Her hospitality and the approach she has on people is what it should be all around the hotel . To be honest if she was one of the persons to talk you into buying we would totally consider it because of her customer service . the other people we have had to deal with this time around and in the past years just sell you a bunch of BS . Evelyn is great and we would love to have her as our concierge next time around if she is available of course .

We had a truly wonderful experience during our stay at Xcaret Arte for the Festival of Life and Death. Everything was perfect — from the organization and cultural details to the food and the warm hospitality. Every staff member showed great dedication and genuine kindness, making us feel welcomed at every moment. We would especially like to highlight Amid, who assisted us at the beach with his kind service and constant smile. His attentiveness truly made our day even more special. Thank you to the entire Xcaret Arte team for creating such a magical and inspiring atmosphere. We’ll definitely be back! 🌺💫

Paloma provided exceptional service — she was friendly, attentive, and made us feel very welcome. Also delivered an outstanding experience on the rooftop, ensuring everything exceeded our expectations. Both demonstrated a high level of professionalism and hospitality.

Let me set this up first. We love Mexico, love good Mexican food, we are fluent in Spanish and we love to travel. We've been to Mexico many times but haven't ever had an amazing gastronomic experience (Riviera Maya, Cabo, Puerto Vallarta) so when we found Xcaret Arte, we thought we'd give it a chance. The price had me second guessing, but we pulled the trigger anyways booking an Ocean Front Suite Adultos (Ocean front and "adultos" means you're booking Casa de los Artistas with a few extra perks). We had a fantastic time at Xcaret Arte! In fact the resort was so great we almost didn't want to leave to visit any of the parks. The highlight for us was the beach (and snorkeling) as well as the Mercado de San Juan. Youtube videos mostly focused on the specialty restaurants and not much on Mercado de San Juan, the main restaurant. Food was fantastic! From tacos and quesadillas to grilled shrimp and steak, they have everything and everything is delicious! I'm getting hungry just thinking about it. Desserts were great as well! When it came to the specialty restaurants and room service, our experience was just mediocre. (Room service burger so salty I couldn't eat it) Luckily, we had Mercado de San Juan to fall back on for every meal. The first night we were there, they had arroz con leche and it was the most delicious I've ever had. So good! The beach is more spacious than it looks in pictures and has drink service. The water was amazing and snorkeling was great. Bring your own mask, snorkel and fins. A lot of fish and two manta rays each morning I went out. We only went to Xcaret and Xplor Fuego. At Xcaret we booked a snorkel tour which was pretty great, a lot of fish, and went to the Espectaculo show at night. Loved it since we like history and mariachis. Xplor Fuego we did the amphibious vehicle and the underground river. Both a lot of fun. I was impressed with both parks! Outside of specialty restaurants and room service not quite hitting the mark, the primary hiccup was with our room. We left our home for the airport at 3 am and did not arrive at the hotel until 8:30 pm. VERY LONG FRUSTRATING DAY! We were interested in two things when we got to the resort...1) food and 2) bed. When you arrive you are presented to 8 different people from the time you walk in until you are in your room. When we finally got to our room #2315 I noticed that the bed was a "full"...not a queen, not a king, a "full" (picture attached). I realize they can't guarantee room type but they state that there are either King rooms or two queens. We were so tired, either would've been fine. Turns out, our room was an "accessible" room with one full bed,l. Not sure how that makes sense for a premium ocean front multiple adults room. I was NOT happy and asked James at the front desk (casa de los artistas desk) to get us into a different room, two queen or King. He said there were none available. I said what about rooms in any of the other "casas"...none available....fully booked or not cleaned. I know they were not fully booked but he was unwilling or unable to get us something different. (All communication in Spanish...zero language barrier) So we stayed in that room for two nights and switched to a king room at that point. Very frustrating after such a long day and given how much we paid for that room. If they give you room #2315, tell them it's not going to work. I'll end on a positive... the cameras stationed throughout the resort that takes pictures when you scan your wristband was a fun little extra that enhanced our stay. Pics at resort included with your room rate.
