Maroma, A Belmond Hotel, Riviera Maya

Fabulous resort - manicured gardens, well-appointed rooms, wonderful staff throughout, delicious food at all restaurants and simply the best resort in all of the Mayan Riviera. Well worth a visit.

This hotel was amazing from the second we checked in there was a butler who we never heard the word no from everyone at the resort knows you by your first and last name Our room was spectacular right on the ocean and main pool was right by our door We stayed in room 63 The chef was amazing food was great Really I’ve stayed at a lot of fine resorts before I have to say hands down by far the best we’ve been to If I had to find one the to complain about is the beach had a lot of seaweed which isn’t the hotels fault at all there were people cleaning it all day Great job Maroma Belmont Thank you to Claudia our personal butler Chef Cesar And the manager Belarmino Gonzalez Great Job 👏 🙏

One of the best Hotels we have stayed in! Every thing was just great! The location is great and you really don’t have to leave the hotel! You feel at home and the staff and the manager all make you feel at home! Great food and great place to relax! From Omar our personal “Butler” who was always there for us and the manager of the resort who made us feel as part of the family! Great place

We are a senior couple with 40 years of international travel to luxury hotels. First, the service that we received at Maroma, from all personnel including the bellmen, wait staff, housekeeping/turn-down service, beach/pool staff, spa personnel, and our hostesses, was exceptional. Everyone was extremely kind and a pleasure to engage. Second, the room was great, very well-furnished including plenty of closet and dresser space, very comfortable bed, and excellent lighting and temperature controls. The room included daily coffee service, daily water bottled, closet including robes, caftans, slippers, sandals and umbrellas. The turn-down service was exceptional and included bedside water, small pastry, slippers at bedside and any or our loose clothes and bathing suits were put on hangers. Third, the food was also excellent at Freddy's Bar and Casa Mayor with many authentic Mexican dishes. Lastly, the site is beautiful. The hotel building are interlaced with the jungle and beach. Maroma beach is beautiful and well-maintained. The chaises were wide and extremely comfortable. And the Maroma is small and the beach did not feel at all crowded. The pathways through the jungle between buildings are beautiful and lit-up by candles at night. As a non-foodie, my only very small criticism is that the menu options are limited, but again, everything we ate was fresh and delicious.

I cannot emphasize enough: if you’re looking for thoughtful, attentive and timely service; clean rooms and lots of amenities; quiet and understated surroundings; and a boutique feel This is your resort.
