Alma del Pacifico Beach Hotel & Spa

Excelente hotel, con una magnifica ubicación, facil acceso y con un personal muy esmerado que se esfuerza en dar un buen servicio. Las habitaciones son excepcionales y la playa en el sector es maravillosa. En la parte gastronómica creo que pueden mejorar.

Can't say enough great things about this hotel. The villas, the pools, the restaurant (breakfast is included), the spa (husband had a massage that was exceptional), the beachfront location, the staff and service - all amazing. We stayed 5 nights in a garden bungalow with king bed, located behind the pool area and furthest from the beach, but so private and the beach is still only steps away. The parking lot is staffed 24/7 with a guard who will check you in, and then open the gate as you leave/enter. The beach has miles of beautiful carpet-like sand and is not terribly busy. We felt very safe to leave our backpack on a lounge chair - with phones, watch, sunglasses etc. - while we went in the ocean or walked along the beach. The air conditioned villas are huge. Bed, side tables, long desk area, sofa, kitchen sink, water filter, bar fridge, glasses, mugs and cutlery, w/c, wardrobe, safe, sink and large vanity, indoor and outdoor showers accessed by a sliding door between the two. The restaurant serves a full complimentary breakfast as well as self serve fruit, yogurt, toast and jam. Nice selections for dinner and drinks (happy hour 4-6pm). Service was friendly and accommodating throughout. Pools are clean and refreshing - lots of chairs, loungers and tables with umbrellas.

We are local went for lunch…. Never ate. Asked for a Coke, never got it. Ordered calamari they came cold, twice. We didn’t eat them and couldn’t ever get anyone to bring that Coke or take a Lunch order. We paid for a water and left. Food is too expensive today to waste time with servers and cooks who simply don’t care. We won’t go back. So glad we didn’t stay there.

This was our third stay here. Rooms are large with a seating area, excellent shower and space for a couple of sun loungers on a small terrace area overlooking the ocean. It must be one of the best beaches in the world and there are spectacular sunsets. The pool area and gardens are super. Staff are all excellent and I thought it was good value for money. Criticisms are few - the buffet aspect of the breakfast is poor and didn’t change throughout our stay. We ate a couple of meals here and there is little in the way of atmosphere, However this is a small hotel so there are never likely to be large numbers of fellow diners. Unless you are a confident swimmer you are unlikely to venture into the ocean as the waves are impressive.However good for surfers!

Wir hatten 3 wundervolle Tage. Die Bungalows sind klasse, die Lage ist phantastisch, der Strand traumhaft und das Restaurant hat eine abwechslungsreiche Speisekarte mit normalen Preisen. Schade das wir nicht in der Nähe wohnen, sonst würde ich öfter für eine Woche hierher kommen um die Seele in einer Hängematte baumeln zu lassen.
