ATELIER Playa Mujeres

Our experience at Atelier Playa Mujeres was nothing short of extraordinary. From the moment we arrived, we were struck by the property’s stunning architecture, expansive layout and, above all, the genuine warmth of the staff. The resort feels both grand and tranquil - a blend of luxury and natural beauty. Our room (Junior Suite Ocean View 2 Queens) was incredibly spacious and beautifully appointed. The beds were very comfortable with high quality linens that made it difficult to get up in the morning. Housekeeping was impeccable - the room was always spotless and the mini fridge was well stocked and regularly replenished. They have a good selection of drinks/snacks and even delivered a complimentary dessert and bottle of champagne for my friend's 30th birthday. The culinary experience far exceeded our expectations. Every meal was outstanding. The breakfast buffet at Mercado 19 was excellent, with endless options and consistently fresh, high quality dishes. Kopai’s atmosphere and design were absolutely stunning. The ocean views from El Suspiro and Cilento (sit outside) were breathtaking, and Limon y Sal was such a fun spot for a late afternoon bite/drinks. While not the fanciest, my personal favorite dining experience was the simplest one - tacos, margaritas, and guac on the beach. The beach staff were fantastic and very attentive. Overall, the food was well beyond what we expected from an all inclusive - truly restaurant quality throughout. The concierge team was exceptional - always available, attentive, and eager to ensure we had the best possible stay. Their warmth and professionalism really stood out and they went above and beyond to help us. Service across the entire property was top-notch. Every staff member we encountered was friendly, gracious, and proactive without ever being intrusive. The swim-up bars were an absolute highlight - and yes, we may have enjoyed one too many tequilas there! Evenings were just as memorable. Dancing in the nightclub after dinner was great fun and the silent disco night was an unexpected highlight of our trip. We had originally planned to go off property for nightlife but we were having too much fun at the resort to leave. And finally, the beach - truly the crown jewel of the resort. Calm, swimmable waters, soft white sand, and beautifully maintained with almost no seaweed. It became our favorite spot to relax and soak in the view. Highly recommend a sunset swim as the ocean feels like a bathtub. There are countless bar options throughout the property, and while we didn’t have time to try them all, we especially loved the lobby bar, the rooftop bar, and the swim-up bars. Overall, Atelier Playa Mujeres provided the best hotel experience I’ve ever had in Mexico. Every element - from the design and cuisine to the service and setting - reflects a true commitment to excellence. Having stayed at other 5 star resorts like Secrets Moxché and Thompson Cabo, I can confidently say Atelier is in a league of its own. It’s hard to imagine a better hotel experience and we are excited to return.

Had a great time. The properties beautiful.. I even signed up for the membership. Concerns that I have is that we weren’t able to get into restaurants to eat dinner. There wasn’t a lot of directions posted on where things were so we got lost a lot.

Great experience our butlers Pingting and Brandon were amazing. Very communicative and helped us with everything. They made our stay so easy. It was a very relaxing vacation!
