This elegant hotel with artistic interiors, well kept rooms and creative meals has staff that exceeds the beauty of the surroundings. I wish I could remember all the names so I hope calling out Tanner and Diamond from the restaurant identifies them and their friendly and professional service correctly. The sense of welcome was set by Janessa at the reception desk who called me by name each time I saw her with only one introduction. She was quick to offer to help with anything…and did it joyfully. Feeling welcome matters the most and these people are credits to the hotel, their families and themselves.

We decided to spend Mother's Day weekend in Portland for a quick one night stay. We checked-in online 24hrs prior, and went to the front desk at 3pm to check-in. They said our room was not yet ready. We spent time waiting in the lobby for THREE HOURS. We did not get our room key until 6pm. Time was very valuable for us, especially for a quick 24 hour trip, and this delay was not quite the welcoming first impressions we were looking for in a hotel, especially given we are paying nearly $400/night. The Front Desk did do a Service Recovery for us and comped us for the Valet Parking and two hour late check-out. Although the Service Recovery was nice, it was still quite the inconvience waiting 3 hours for our room to be ready. I would also want to note that I had to ask for a Service Recovery, initially the Front Desk did not provide anything. The room itself was great. It was a good size, clean, has a smart TV. Everything you'll need. Not sure the value for money was good though for $400/night. Given there are many other hotels in the area for almost half the price, I was wanting something more.

Quiet, relaxing, accommodating. Everything you would want from a hotel plus an abundance of funky chic. I really enjoyed it and plan to return with my family in tow. Amanda at the front desk was a joy as was the hotel banquet staff - delivering personal attention!

A beautiful hotel in a central location! The room was immaculate and very quiet. The bed was exceptionally comfortable. Michael at the front desk was especially helpful with our late arrival and providing us with a late check out. Would definitely stay here again!
