Hotel Poseidon - Our Home in Positano
Hotel Poseidon is truly magical! My husband and I have been lucky enough to stay here twice now—our second time just this year—and it honestly feels like coming home. From the moment you arrive, you’re greeted with the warmest smiles and treated like family. The staff are so kind, attentive, and genuinely invested in making your stay unforgettable. The food is absolutely delicious, and every meal feels like a special occasion, if it be for their delicious complementary breakfast or lunch and dinner at their restaurant, Il Tridente. The rooms have such a lovely Italian charm to them with the decorations, and are comfortable and very clean. And the location? Perfect. You’re right in the heart of Positano, but the hotel feels like its own peaceful retreat. The pool deck is my absolute favourite place to be—so relaxing, with the most beautiful, sweeping views of the Amalfi Coast. It’s a spot I think about long after I leave. We’ve decided that whenever we come to Positano, we will only stay at Hotel Poseidon. It’s not just a hotel—it’s an experience we’ll treasure forever.

Hotel Poseidon is Fantastic!
My wife and I travel quite a bit, but rarely have we found a hotel with the beauty and professionalism that the Hotel Poseidon demonstrates. Our room was spacious, comfortable, and beautiful. The staff could not have been nicer; always making us feel welcome and at home. Fiorenzo, at the front desk was always ready to help with suggestions on how to make our day and evenings enjoyable in Positano. Rachelle, greeted us each morning with a smile as we arrived for a lush breakfast. You could not be more comfortable in any Postitano hotel. Poseidon is listed as a 4 star hotel, but in our opinion it is absolutely a 5 star hotel.

Magical stay in Positano
Beautiful hotel with stunning views of Positano. The service at the hotel was excellent. Breakfast included was delicious. We couldn’t have had a better experience, enjoyed every minute!

My family and I stayed here for 4 nights and had an amazing time! The staff were really friendly and helpful. Special mention to Fiorenzo, Aldo and Giussi at concierge. The location is great, short walk to the beach and amazing views overlooking Positano. Great restaurant, bar and rooftop pool.

Our family of 5 stayed at this gorgeous hotel and apart from its infamous terrace with magical views it’s truly the wonderful staff that make it feel like a home away from home. Its position is perfect, a pleasant walk down to the beach but high enough to enjoy the picturesque views away from crowds. Also has a lovely pool and again very attentive staff! We would definately stay here again! Grazie x
