Hotel Poseidon

Lovely hotel, amazing staff, amazing location.. for 1/2 days perfect, don’t think would be able to do more. Pool is small, and rooms need updating but it’s a 4 star hotel, so has more charm but rooms can appear like an old grandmothers style rooms, not in a good way.. some people will think it’s charming and other people will think it’s old and dusty, For the price, your paying for the view. The staff are wonderful though and helpful with anything you need.

What an amazing hotel!!! The location and the room we booked, a Superior Apartment which was a very nice size with two sleeping areas. Large bathroom and nice terrace with an incredible view of Positano and the Ocean. The service provided by the hotel prior to our arrival was unmatched! We emailed and called them several times and they were always so responsive and fast to answer. Kudos to all of the Concierge team who were awesome. When we arrived the excellent service continued. Guise and the front desk staff were the best! The restaurant in the hotel was so delicious! Please try the Salt Crusted Bass....Mamma Mia! Breakfast was tasty too. The hotel is in the best walkable area right on the main street so no steps to climb with luggage. Our car service dropped us off right in front. The beach and shopping all within a short walk. Beach is down steps but not too bad. Coming up a different story. We highly recommend this hotel for the location, service and food options. NOTE - the elevator is very interesting to operate and small but we found it part of the experience and again would come back to this hotel in a heartbeat!!!

Hotel Poseidon was one of the best hotel experiences I have had. The employees are extremely friendly and helpful. We received a tour of the entire hotel upon check-in. Any questions we had related to the hotel, or Positano, were answered. The view is also spectacular. I could not have thought of a better spot for our stay in Positano!

We loved our stay here. The views, the staff, and the location were great. We’d recommend to friends and stay here again.

Hello, My fiance' Nicole and I stayed at the Poseidon Hotel in late July into August and had an OUTSTANDING EXPERIENCE! Starting weeks prior to our stay, we interacted with the concierge at the hotel to arrange airport transportation, dinner reservations, boat charter to Capri and other suggestions. They were so prompt, professional and enthusiastic on my endless emails asking what to do and where to go. I have to say the customer service got even better (if you can believe it) in person when we arrived. EVERYONE on their staff was so accomodating and friendly and knew our names after the first day. We spent every pre-dinner and post dinner at the pool area which has the greatest view you can imagine. The servers were fabulous welcoming us back each time. Great complimentary snacks with the drinks made the experience even better. Breakfast every day, which was included, was fantastic as well. Omelette chef along with fresh squeezed vegetable and orange juice. We had lunch one day and a great dinner on our last night. So many people from other hotels come to the pool and the restaurant. We have traveled all over the world and stayed at the Ritz, Four Seasons, etc...the service at Hotel Poseidon was even better!
