We had a great week staying at the Hotel Poseidon. We stayed in a Funny Room which we loved. The terrace was huge and perfect for sitting out on and watching the world go by. All the food was delicious, including the two platters which we had in the bar area. Breakfast was plentiful and particularly enjoyable when we were able to sit outside on the terrace. All of the staff were very welcoming and attentive and we could not have asked for any better service whilst there. We would highly recommend this hotel and would not hesitate to return.

My mom and I booked a stay at Hotel Poseidon to visit Positano for the first time and were BLOWN away by our experience. The staff, hotel, views and food were nothing short of incredible. 10/10 if you're going to Positano don't stay anywhere else! It exceeded our expectations and we hope to be back again someday

This place was amazing. Perfectly located close to the shops of Positano and not a far walk to the beach. Be careful in Positano because close to the beach cars are not allowed so you're walking to get to your hotel. Before our visit I planned dinners and excursions with Giancarlo and Giusi. This was the trip of a lifetime for me so I know I was overly needy, they were terrific via email helping me understand what to do and where to go. They booked dinners, car services for us, and even a boat day to tour Capri by ourselves. Naples airport is very slow so don't expect to get your luggage and be out quickly. When we checked in, Giancarlo was there to greet us and he remembered me from ALL of the emails I had sent. What a nice guy and he was so helpful and polite our entire stay. Giusi also remembered me and every time I walked past she always had a hello, good morning, anything you need for us to book today, the staff here was great. Pino the bellman took our luggage to the room and gave us a tour of the hotel, again another excellent staff member. He even found a bed for our dogs that we travelled with. The hotel takes a day or so to figure out how to navigate but you quickly learn where everything is. The rooftop pool has an insane gorgeous view and Il Tridente was supurb. There is a TON of walking in Positano so be ready for it. Cute shoes for the ladies is not a good idea. Functional shoes you can walk in work best. If you go out the hotel to the right and walk about 100 yards there is a set of steps that takes you down to the beach. Its the fastest way to get there but they don't call it the thousand steps for nothing. Another favorite spot of ours was Saraceno d'Oro for amazing pizza about 150 yards up the street from the hotel. We had a junior suite that had a patio with stunning view of the Med, the room was quite large for a Positano hotel. In the evenings you could hear singers in the town square near the beach belting out amazing music that made you feel like you were in the heart of Italy. The hotel did not have a gym which we would have liked but all of the walking burns plenty of calories. The staff here was terrific and really was the best part of the hotel. I can't wait to come back.

Wow! This was such a special stay! The hotel is beautiful and full of amazing details, but the service especially was out of this world! The pool/bar area is an amazing retreat from the busy streets of positano and every person working was so kind, funny, and helpful. The breakfast is amazing and has so much selection and the cocktail bar has every type of cocktail possible! We were there at the end of the season and there was no decline in service at all. I’ve never stayed in a hotel that paid this much attention. This was a splurge but so so worth it, if you’re on the fence - book it! You will not regret it. We booked the “funny room” and the balcony was huge and the view incredible, I can’t wait to come back!

The Poseidon Hotel and Staff were amazing!! The view from our balcony was breathtakingly beautiful. The entire staff from check-in, dining and terrace waitstaff and housekeepers have the highest integrity and we’re courteous, friendly and so welcoming to us as well as our family. We highly recommend staying here. You will not be disappointed.
