About the Hotel

When Le Sirenuse opened in 1951, it captured the tranquility, sophistication and style that have made the town of Positano a beloved retreat on the Amalfi Coast. This intimate former summer home resides just 35 miles southeast of Naples, and its terraces gaze across Homerâ€(TM)s legendary Island of the Sirens. Vibrant Vietri tiles, cool whitewashed walls and an abundance of natural light give the bedrooms character, while vaulted ceilings, antique furniture and old master paintings embellish the suites. Savor a romantic dining experience at La Sponda Restaurant, featuring a drapery of bougainvillea and hundreds of candles.

Due to its many stairs and high balconies, Le Sirenuse is not suitable for children under the age of 6 years old.

A Beautiful Hotel in Stunning Positano

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 1 week ago

This is truly one of the most beautiful hotels I have stayed at. Its stunning setting and prime location make an immediate impression, and the overall atmosphere reflects both elegance and charm. The staff were consistently warm, friendly, and attentive, contributing greatly to the experience. The food was excellent, and the breakfast in particular stood out—both in quality and variety. Our room was clean, well-appointed, though slightly on the smaller side. The view was partially obstructed by roofs, however we were still able to enjoy a glimpse of Positano’s hillside. The pool area was exceptional, with comfortably warm water that made it especially enjoyable. The spa was one of the highlights of the stay—truly magnificent. It features a sauna, steam room, and a cold plunge bath, all available to guests without the need for reservations, which added to the convenience and overall relaxation. If there was one minor concern, it would be that at times the emphasis on maintaining certain standards seemed to outweigh guest comfort. For example, we were asked not to place an outside bottle of water on a table at the bar, which felt a bit unnecessary. That aside, the overall experience was outstanding. This hotel offers a beautiful blend of luxury, comfort, and exceptional amenities.

Best hotel to stay!

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 3 weeks ago

My stay at Le Sirenuse was nothing short of extraordinary. From the moment I arrived, I was enveloped in timeless elegance, impeccable service, and breathtaking views of the Amalfi Coast. Every detail—from the beautifully curated interiors to the exceptional dining—was executed with effortless sophistication. What truly sets this hotel apart is how it blends luxury with warmth. The staff made me feel genuinely welcomed, anticipating every need with grace and care. Combined with its thoughtful approach to sustainability, Le Sirenuse offers an experience that is as meaningful as it is indulgent. It’s more than just a stay—it’s a feeling, one I will never forget. Highly recommended

Shower glass door exploded on our honeymoon stay, owner was unapologetic & was rude

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 6 months ago

We stayed here in September for our honeymoon and the shower glass in our room suddenly shattered. My husband narrowly avoided being hurt. The staff cleaned it up, but the next morning the manager questioned if we had touched the glass instead of apologizing. The manager/owner was way to passionate on explaining how special their glass were and that it shouldn’t hurt us even if my husband were in the bathroom. It was a really upsetting experience, especially given the cost and reputation of the hotel. The manager/owner offered 50% the second night and that was it. Hilarious. Sharing this so future guests should avoid this hotel if you care about your own safety. At $3.5k a night, this hotel isn’t worth it and they need a serious renovation considered how poorly the shower glass installed, which lead to it being exploded randomly. The chance is never 0% and you stay at your own risk.

Beyond extraordinary!

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 6 months ago

This was a last minute trip to celebrate a milestone birthday. Le Sirenuse is nothing less than magical. It is a reprieve from a chaotic world that transports you to a simpler, yet more opulent era. The rooms…the views…the service, are all extraordinary. The Staff could not be more gracious or accommodating. From evening cocktails at Aldo’s with a postcard picture landscape, to the phenomenal food and presentation at La Sponda, I’ve found no other Resort in the world compares to this magnificent property. Thank you Le Sirenuse…we’ll be back next June and are already counting down the days.
