We stayed at this hotel as part of an APT Cruise experience. It was in a very good location, within walking distance of the main square, restaurants and sights. The staff were very helpful including my gluten free diet. The restaurant was spacious and the breakfast buffets were well stocked. Our room was spacious with a sofa as well, many lights, and toiletries. I would recommend to anyone.

We stayed at The Alcron for 3 nights last week and loved every part of our stay. I honestly cannot fault any part of our stay. Staff were excellent - friendly and approachable. The restaurant is one of the best I have eaten at in Prague - quality modern cuisine. The room was great - roomy, quality furnishings, well lit, smart tv, and power points in all the right places. The bathroom also had a walk-in shower rather than the old high sided bath/shower combination you see in some hotels I have stayed at in Prague. Highlight of our stay was the cocktail bar. The Alcron has created a number of its own cocktails and mocktails. The ones we tried were creative but they delivered on flavour (not fancy for fancy’s sake!) We visit Prague fairly regularly and have stayed in quite a few of the hotels. I think that this is only the second one I have liked enough to leave a review for as it is definitely a gem worth sharing. I think this will now be our go-to hotel in Prague.

Stayed for a weekend in early November. Was excellent value for money for a 5-star hotel. On entering, the reception was beautifully designed in a way that brought together Art Deco & a more modern look. We were offered a free drink on arrival as well as a complimentary drink in the Alcron Bar. The room was stylish and comfortable with a free robe, slippers and water. There was a large TV which you could cast on - so ideal for an hour or so of relaxation after a long day of walking. Breakfast was excellent - with a menu of dishes cooked to order plus a diverse buffet of hot and cold items. Although to be honest, the hot buffet items weren't great. Really good location with good access to tourist attractions plus public transport, but just out of the way enough so that it's not too loud. The bar is gorgeous and the drinks are really good. Well worth a visit!

I had a 2-night stay and really loved the hotel. The hotel is beautiful, the staff is super friendly and helpful, and the rooms are comfortable, well-appointed, and quiet. The bed and shower were standouts and the bed was super comfy, and the shower had amazing water pressure. They even provided an excellent blow dryer in the room, which was appreciated. While it's not in the heart of the Old Town, it's only about a 12-minute walk to the Astronomical Clock, which is no biggie deal considering how much more you get for your money staying here. I love Prague and will be back, and when I do, I will 100% be staying here again.
