I think that this hotel could be excellent. Unfortunately for us, the difficulties at the front desk (wrong information about free breakfast, etc - the list is long as was the time trying to determine why they insisted on the wrong info - upon leaving we were told sorry but that we had not received the right info). Then in room with no disturb sign on door, staff entered room to deliver conference gifts - although we weren't attending a conference there. The room was great and comfortable.

Terrific location with lots of shopping and restaurants nearby. Got upgraded to a junior suite, which was not fancy, but definitely good size with three big closets. Bathroom had two sinks, which is a definite plus! A/C was needed because the bedding is a heavy duvet; we couldn’t make it work and each time asked the hotel to set it for us. Sort of a pain, but they said they couldn’t get it fixed any better. Several USB/c connectors were faulty, the shower flooded the first day, shower bar where soaps were kept sliding off - all got fixed eventually. Not enough hooks in the room to hang things, including a lack of hooks and towel bars in the bathroom- all hotels need to fix that, especially cause they would like us to re-hang towels and there is usually no place to put them. Food at this hotel was amazing - the breakfast buffet was filled with delicious hot and cold items, plus food to order, coffee drinks were self-service, lots of freshly-squeezed juices, and baked goods. Also, we ate dinner at the restaurant one night and definitely enjoyed the veggie-forward, flavorful cuisine. Excellent front desk staff, no matter when we needed them, they were friendly, spoke good English and were very helpful.

Our home away from home! The room was comfortable and the staff go above and beyond. For us, staff can make or break an experience so I will first discuss the hotel, followed by staff. A beautiful marble lobby. It was one of the first 5-star hotels in Prague. The room and bathroom were large for European standards. Happy with plenty of counter space for toiletries in bathroom and loved the heated floors. The shower pressure is strong and there is plentiful hot water. We liked the location, but it is about a 15 minute walk to the old town Square, a 10 minute walk to the national museum, and just off Wenceslas square. We enjoyed the pretty walk each day but we saw plenty of trams and buses. I read the public transit system is good. You can download the app Pid Litacka to buy tickets on line. We ate breakfast each morning and one dinner in the hotel restaurant, which is highly rated. All meals were good. About the staff: The two gentlemen who checked us in the evening of October 13th (I did not get their names) and patiently answered our questions about Prague. It was late so the concierge had left but they made sure to leave a message for Austin who phoned the following morning with our dinner reservation. Austin, the concierge, is phenomenal. He got to know us quickly so his recommendations were perfect for us. When we told him our plan to go to a nearby restaurant prior to our Prague Philharmonic performance he insisted on making us a reservation at a better restaurant, Aromi. So glad he did! Beautiful dining room and excellent food, especially if you like seafood. We looked forward to breakfast each morning, as much to see the servers as to enjoy the beautiful spread. After 5 days they felt like family. A special thanks to Dia, who is warm, professional and greeted us with a genuine smile each morning. In just 2 days she knew our usual orders and when she realized I liked fruit and yogurt, she brought me a bowl of berries. Also, Sylvia, the breakfast manager, is exceptional. We noticed she works as hard as her staff and loves her job. She has done a great job training the staff to be exceptional. We will stay here again when visiting Prague

Gorgeous hotel in a convenient location Very nice, big breakfast buffet. The lobby is well done and the elevators fast. They also have a huge marble staircase behind the bank of elevators, quite convenient. The staff was very friendly and the room comfy, although the beds were a little firm for our taste. Nice bathroom and shower. They have 7 foot long towels, not soft but big. Much nicer than the toilet paper that feels like sandpaper. We had a room with a window overlooking the front street, we knew we were in trouble when they gave us earplugs. It was very noisy on the street until past 3 AM.

Such a wonderful property in the heart of Prague. Very bright, modern, luxurious, welcoming hotel. My room was extremely clean. The view was fantastic: Imagine drinking a glass of bubbly ( I was greeted with it upon check-in) with a view of the Prague Castle . I've never had such a great breakfast in a hotel! Thank you so much for your hospitality!
