Reviews for Art Nouveau Palace Hotel

Class and comfort within easy walking distance of the Old Town Square

Art Nouveau Palace Hotel was wonderful. The room was just fine and gave us a feeling of being luxuriously pampered. The hotel itself is a classy older establishment finished with lots of rich-feeling wood and fancy newer fixtures. The breakfast buffet was an amazing selection of many different types of dishes. Maybe it was good that our morning schedules took us away or we might have suffered the consequences of 3 hour breakfasts! We didn't realize it at the time, but the location is right in the midst of many sites and sights, with only a 10 or 20 minute walk away.

A Stay in Prague

Excellent service from start to Finish Our room was on the 3rd floor and ease of access to both the lobby and the Breakfast Room, which was a lively experience. Staff are very attentive, whether booking taxis. Knowledge of the local ares or arranging our packed lunch for our early return flight. The breakfast was excellent and also the service in the evening dining room was above normal level. It was a pleasure to stay at a nice hotel with all the areas we wanted to see in Prague at close hand. We would recommend people to stay at this hotel .

Not so Nouveau any more. And lots of tour groups.

Tired hotel on the edge of the historic district with lots of tour groups and Viking cruise groups. We had a comfortable room with old furniture and good air conditioning. The front desk and management staff can use a little more training in customer service.

Excellent location, great value and wonderful staff

Had a lovely 5-night stay at this hotel; close enough to walk everywhere but without all of the noise. I stayed with my 20-year old son and the twin-bedded Executive Room was ample size. The beds are bigger than usual, so great for us; I’m 174cm and my son is183cm. We arrive late to a friendly welcome and one of the cleanest hotels I have stayed in. There is not a late bar (closes at 10:30) but prices are excellent for a hotel. The 2 men working the restaurant were lovely and got to know that we wanted drinks and a corner to read. We are on there on the last night and, again, great value and big portions. You are close to many restaurants and we only had one bad experience, having ate out twice each day (I don’t think I’ll be eating for a week but my son needed fodder for the miles we walked!)

Fantastic Gem Hotel

What a great hotel. Right from the start, there was a friendly welcome, despite the late arrival, due to late plane into Prague. Easy to check in and the shown to our rooms. Both rooms were magnificent. Clean and fresh. Beds were really comfortable and a well stocked minibar, tea and coffee facility. The beds were turned down every night, with a small chocolate placed on the bed., which made it a nice touch. The hotel overall looked well looked after with no scuff marks and everything was clean and polished. Breakfast was a gastronomic feast with lots of new things to try, including the pickled sausage and cheese. Great stuff. The service was exceptional. Very efficient and all staff were very friendly and professional. The reception staff was very helpful and nothing was too much trouble. Will definetly stay here again if I come to Prague. Well done to one and all.

Stayed at the Hotel Palace Praha from September 20-24.... This portion was the highlight of a month-long birthday present to my daughter. We couldn't have picked a better hotel or location to start her first journey in Europe. The staff and hotel went out of their way to ensure we enjoyed our stay. By way of thanks, I have been talking about that experience to all my friends and relatives. I would hope to try to duplicate the experience, but am sure it was once in a lifetime.

We were extremely pleased with Hotel Palace Praha and we were treated as royalty. The highlight of the experience was the dinner. The hotel restaurant is magnificently decorated in Art Nouveau style (as is most of Prague) and the Maitre d' greeted us as old friends. We had three waiters and they included a bottle of wine. The piano player made the evening special (and romantic) and the food was outstanding.

The service at the Hotel Palace Praha was exceptional. Not only did they arrange a car to meet us at the airport, they decorated our lovely room with a beautiful bouquet of fresh flowers, candles and rose petals with a note wishing us a happy honeymoon. The restaurant staff was among the most friendly we met on our whole trip. The live jazz band in the restaurant even played for us the first dance song from our wedding. I’ve recommended it to everyone I know...

In October we traveled to Prague, Czech Republic, and the Hotel Palace Praha. The hotel was wonderful, luxurious but unpretentious, and our room was beautiful with one of the hotel’s few balconies. The service was exceptional, the location perfect, but the highlight was dinner. I am something of a 'foodie', both gourmet and gourmand, and we have eaten our way through three-star restaurants of a number of countries, but I have never had a better, more graciously served, or more memorable meal than that included in our package - and the (included) outstanding Czech wine was a revelation.
