About the Hotel
Stepping into Golden Well Hotel is like traveling back in time. Tucked between the Castle and Ledeburg Gardens in Prague, this 16th-century Renaissance building once belonged to Emperor Rudolf II and later to the famed astronomer Tycho de Brahe. The 20 bedrooms and suites and adorned with masterful reproductions of centuries old pieces recreated by the furniture designers of Richelieu. On a terrace beneath the Castle gardens, you can savor international cuisine with French influences at Restaurant U Zlaté Studne.

Lovely Stay
I loved the place and the people. Breakfast: the breakfast buffet is beautiful, everything is well prepared, the main dish menu comes with variety of egg and vegan options. Gluten free bread is available , non dairy milk is available. Strong coffee is available. Desserts are available. The soup of the day was delicious. The star of the show is Ms Andraa, she is providing top notch service, making sure that everyone is getting what they need and more. She is orchestrating the breakfast service beautifully with her team. She made sure that everyone is enjoying their breakfast .The view of the breakfast floor is amazing. A great way to start your day. Room: I had the superior room, very cosy , very clean. You have everything you need. The pillow menu has different choices of pillows to cater for my neck problems. Thank you Tanya for cleaning and tidying my room. Reception: Adam and Viktorie , they are very helpful, they tried to help me with the tours, medicines and some other stuff that i need. Adam did his best to make sure that the tour guide company is aligned with my tailored requests. Wind down service: Beautiful service at the end of the day , preparing you to sleep with a beautiful small dessert. It made the end of the day cozier and more relaxed. The place: in the heart of the old town. Very calm yet in the center of everything. You can walk to all the touristic spots. Yes, You will need to walk up and down the ramp but the team will help you with your luggages upon your request so nothing to worry about. Overall, very nice place , I enjoyed my stay.

Excellent hotel
The location was excellent and all the staff very friendly and helpful. The hotel is also very quiet and there are lots of small touches including complementary snacks and cakes. Also, excellent breakfast. I would highly recommend the hotel.

A Wonderful Hotel
Beautiful hotel, with a wonderful staff of professionals that cater to your every need. Rooms and amenities are exceptional. A bottle of complementary wine in your room at check in along with fresh fruit. A different dessert left in your room with the turndown service every night. Excellent breakfast. Fantastic views of the city from your room. You would be hard pressed to find anything better in Prague.

Great family stay!
We stayed for 2 nights with our teenager and had a great stay. The staff are great and the hotel is very nice. We had a wonderful breakfast each morning served by a wonderful staff. The room was comfortable and the housekeeping staff did a nice job as well. The location is perfect, within walking distance of what we wanted to see, but far enough away to be quiet and uncrowded. I just wished we had more time on our trip to stay and spend more time in Prague. We will return and I would absolutely stay here again.

Great location next to the castle. Extremely comfortable and clean with impeccable service and a warm welcome. The rooftop restaurant is not to be missed. Excellent food and an unbeatable view across Prague

Hotel U Zlate Studne was fabulous! The staff was gracious and attentive. Our Grande Deluxe guest room included every amenity as described. The food was excellent! The property itself is tucked away in a residential area. It is within a few blocks of public transportation, making this a great home base for sightseeing and shopping. Five-Star Quality!

HarperWe spent 3 nights at this delightful hotel, and everything about the stay surpassed our expectations.The hotel has everything you could ask for in a luxury property, at very moderate prices. The location was ideal, within easy walking distance of most attractions, but a couple of short blocks removed from the tourist thouroughfares. The building, which is centuries old, is full of character. It has been tastefully renovated, with respect for the historic features of the architecture and decor. In closing, I hope to return to Prague sometime to see it in spring or summer. U Zlate Studne will definitely be my first choice.
