It's hard to improve on perfection, but The Palms, Turks and Caicos, lauded as Turks and Caicos' top resort, managed to take the island's flour-white sands and tranquil seas and turn them into something even more beautiful. Manicured lawns surround a cluster of British colonial-style buildings made from hand-cut coral, marrying understated luxury with Caribbean coolness.

I absolutely love, love, love The Palms Turks & Caicos! The resort is beautiful and the staff is so amazing? Arlean greeted us with a smile every morning for breakfast and was an absolute breath of fresh air and so friendly and professional. Also Leonie Henry and Carol in the restaurant are so amazing. They have beautiful personalities, friendly and always makes us feel so welcomed and special. We will definitely be returning next year!!!! Thank you for a wonderful vacation!

What a place to spend our time out in Turks and Caicos. A beautiful, luxury hotel that oozed a sense of premium in every element. The staff were our first impression of the resort and they exceeded all expectations from start to finish. It was a birthday surprise for my wife and the team helped me put together amazing arrangements in our gorgeous suite. The amenities were all top tier, food at Parallel23 Michelin-esque I could really go on and on about the spa, private beach, pools but wanted to reserve praise to all the amazing staff we met there. Special shoutout to both Whitneys! The one that greeted us in but especially the one who put together all the room arrangements. Shanel and the rest of the awesome concierge team. Super Mario and the Bell men. Leeroy and the wonderful ladies at front desk that recommended Bambarra cake (and told us there was a pool on site). The guys behind the bar, kitchen staff the list is endless.

Truly the most amazing experience staying here. October was great since it was slow. The resort was beautiful and always clean. The staff was super friendly. Every single person on staff was helpful and nice. They truly always went above and beyond to help. So thankful to the entire crew! Thank you for an amazing experience! My wife and I had so much fun!

My husband and I were originally booked at The Shore Club, but since it wasn’t going to be open when we arrived, the resort graciously moved us to The Palms. After a little negotiation, we were upgraded from a Junior Suite (partial ocean view) to a One-Bedroom Pool View Suite, which turned out to be perfect. The location on Grace Bay is spectacular — the water is crystal clear and the beach is perfect for walking. The suite was spacious and comfortable, with two bathrooms and a full kitchen (we mostly used the fridge and Nespresso machine). However, the bed was soft and sagging, and you can tell the resort is starting to feel a bit dated in some areas. We were celebrating our wedding anniversary, and it was such a nice surprise to find a delicious chocolate cake and cookies waiting in our room. It would have been an even nicer touch if they’d included a bottle of champagne or wine. The pool bar was a highlight of our stay — Othenal took wonderful care of us, and his colleague Nevil was fun to interact with. Lunches were delicious and the portions generous enough to share. Breakfast was satisfactory but not exceptional, though the service from Arlean was excellent. The spa was another standout — our couples massage was wonderful, and we appreciated the $300 low-season resort credit. One disappointment: the resort should have been up-front about the “In The Pink” event held on Saturday night (October 11). The loud music and crowds went late into the night, and it was nearly impossible to sleep. Guests should really be notified in advance about large events like that. A few smaller notes: the bath amenities were not luxury-level (the body lotion came in a plain squeeze bottle, and there was no shower cap), and the on-site restaurant SiSi was just okay. Like most places on the island, meals and drinks are quite pricey, so be prepared for that. Overall, this is a beautiful resort with wonderful staff and great service, but a few upgrades and more attention to detail would make it feel truly five-star again. We still enjoyed our stay and would recommend it — especially for the location and the hospitality.
