It's hard to improve on perfection, but The Palms, Turks and Caicos, lauded as Turks and Caicos' top resort, managed to take the island's flour-white sands and tranquil seas and turn them into something even more beautiful. Manicured lawns surround a cluster of British colonial-style buildings made from hand-cut coral, marrying understated luxury with Caribbean coolness.

I was quite disappointed with my recent stay at The Palms. It has definitely lost the luxury quality it used to have. While there was a nice exterior renovation of the beach restaurant, the rest of the resort is exactly the same as it was back in 2012/2015/2019 during my last visits. The rooms are outdated and definitely showing their age. Dresser drawers barely open. Screen doors to the terrace are broken or ripped. A lot of little misses that add up to big let downs. Another super annoying thing is the pool/beach chair situation - which was never an issue during my prior stays. People are saving 4-5 chairs at both the beach and the pool and don’t even show up . One day my husband and went to the beach at 8:30am. Every front row beach chair was empty - yet they were all being “saved” by the beach attendant for other guests. No personal items were on any of the chairs -just the beach attendant telling us we couldn’t sit there. On day 1, I accepted this and sat in the second row but then saw that none of the “saved” chairs had any occupants late into the morning or afternoon. When I arrived on day 2, we sat in two of the front row EMPTY chairs with no belongings. The attendant quickly ran over and said we couldn’t sit there and was quite rude. At that point, I spoke to the beach manager (yes, I was Karen!) who agreed that the beach guy should not be saving every chair in the front row just in case guests (who most likely tipped him handsomely) might want a chair at some point during the day. The manager apologized and gave us better chairs. I say all this to show that The Palms now feels like any mid-quality Hilton or Marriott where you would expect this kind of thing. If I were paying Hilton or Marriott prices, I’d deal with it, but not at The Palms. Aside from the beach attendant, the staff was very friendly and attentive, however that’s not enough to make me come back. I love Turks and Caicos, but bc true luxury is important to us, the Palms is no longer for me. I will be checking out Amanyara or Wymara on the next visit!

Had an amazing trip to The Palms with my family. The house keeping was amazing, twice a day, room could not have been kept more clean and tidy. Staff everywhere were so friendly and kind. the included breakfast was great, everything you need and or want. Food at the pool is pricey but always good. I want to especially want to mention Erika at the Wish boutique. She was the nicest, sweetest young lady. She was friendly helpful and such a pleasure to talk to . she needs a special shout out, she was so kind to me and my daughter who shopped in her store.

Jan 2026 • Family The Palms is one of the most beautiful and elegant hotels we have ever stayed at! This is our 7th year here and we will not stay anywhere else! Everyone here is amazing and treat us like family. Everyone is so friendly and accommodating! Clive our butler was incredible and every request was full-filled with a smile and a “it’s my pleasure” “Oats” our beach server was just amazing and treated us like family! Arlean , Jane and Sherrie at breakfast were the sweetest! Dwane is the best bartender! Honestly, all of the staff were so friendly and went above and beyond for us! The hotel is just beautiful, elegant and lush with flowers and beautiful palm trees! Our two girls who grew up coming here (and are now teenagers) also love it here so much! Plenty of activities right in Grace bay beach along with a beautiful pool and the most beautiful spa on the
