We recently stayed at the Ritz Carlton in Providenciales and it was quite lovely. We were upgraded to an Oceanfront room and the room itself and view were great! We ate dinner one evening at the BLT Steakhouse and it was really good (pricey, but not crazy). One of the highlights of the trip was the Lady Grace Catamaran Sunset Cruise. It was by far the nicest sunset cruise we had ever been on. The food, drinks, music and timing of everything was perfect, and it sets sail right from the main dock in front of the resort. My only real issue with our stay, and this is kind of knit-picky, was that I perhaps had my expectations built-up a little too high. As noted above, the resort was very nice, I just wasn’t blown-away with anything, like you would kind of expect from a RC. Example: I had pre-ordered some champagne to our room before our arrival. It wasn’t in the room when we arrived and I had to call room service to have it delivered on the second day; again, first world problems but still, at other high-end resorts we’ve stayed at (Waldorf, St Regis, etc.) this wasn’t an issue. Everything was expensive, which is expected in Turks but I kind of hard a hard time justifying it all in the end. Overall, it was a great trip, I’m just not convinced that if, given the option to go back, that we wouldn’t try the Seven Stars or one of the boutique resorts instead.

An absolutely lovely stay in Turks! The beaches are breathtakingly turquoise, and the staff are wonderful. We moved to the Ritz for the second half of our trip, which was pure relaxation—heavenly beds and addictive ocean views. A massive shout-out to Reeses, from Security, who went above and beyond. Not only did he secure us great beach seats, but he also led the charge in finding my friend's lost gold and stone ring, which disappeared in the sand, with a metal detector! Our trip could have ended in tears, but Reeses’ and MJ’s professionalism and kindness saved the day. A huge THANK YOU, Reese and MJ!

We left from Boston to escape the blizzard and enjoy paradise. Our stay at the Ritz Carlton was fantastic. We had booked an ocean front room, but due to our late arrival because of the weather, it got changed to partial ocean view. Luckily, we got upgraded back to ocean front, and boy was the view spectacular. The beach is beautiful, and the staff setting up was fantastic. Food at the hotel was fantastic. There was nothing we at that we didn't totally enjoy. Cocktails at the main bar were excellent quality. The only constructive criticism is that the cocktails which arrive at the bank were terribly inconsistent. You never get the same pina colada! Sometimes, weak, sometimes strong, sometimes creamy, sometimes icy. A little training and QC in this area, and it would have been 5 stars. We took a ride on the Princess Grace, lovely, beautiful boat and staff. The casino was fun, the table stakes low enough that it could be fun. I'd go back and recommend the Ritz to others.

We just took a trip to Turks & Caicos last week, and we stayed at the Ritz. I haven't been to the island before, and we had a fantastic time. The service was excellent, we did both the spa and a cabana by the pool, as well as spending time by the beach and pool in normal chairs. There were two President's Club trips going on while we were there (not at the same time, back to back), and they weren't at all disruptive or chaotic. The grounds are beautiful, the view from our room was spectacular. We will definitely be back!

From One Service Professional to Another… Well Done In my line of work, I understand that great service doesn’t happen by accident, and during our stay at The Ritz-Carlton Turks and Caicos, that intentional effort was obvious. I own a service business myself, so I pay attention to how teams operate. Several team members stood out in a way that deserves recognition. Reese consistently set the tone. What I will remember most is this: Reese is a tall, large man with a strong presence, yet every time he saw me, he would pause whatever he was doing, turn fully toward me, and warmly say, “Mr. Mike, how are you today?” There was nothing rushed about it. It wasn’t automatic. It felt genuine. He greeted me in a way that made me feel like he was truly happy to see me. That combination of presence, warmth, and intentional communication makes a lasting impression. You don’t feel like a guest passing through. You feel known. On the beach, Ren delivered quiet excellence every single day. Even on mornings when I was out on excursions and he had no guarantee we were coming down, he would already have an umbrella positioned and comfortable seating arranged for my wife and me. There was no hovering and no sense of working for a tip. Just attentiveness and pride in doing the job well. During our private corporate event, Joseph stood out behind the bar. He remembered my name and, while others were still deciding on cocktails, would pull my drink aside and hand it to me so I wasn’t waiting in the crowd. I was there as a plus-one, but he treated me like a priority. That same evening, Kenny introduced me to the local beers and explained that each can has a story. I didn’t have my glasses, and he immediately offered to read them to me. He spoke with genuine pride about the island and its products, turning a simple drink into something memorable. There were many other moments of strong service throughout our stay, but these are the individuals who will stick in my memory. Beautiful properties matter. The people are what make you come back.
